I rescued my dog from the animal shelter because I believe it’s better to give a home to a needy dog, rather than buying one from a puppy mill (dirty, abusive place designed solely for reproducing puppies for profit).
This was part of a mini-notepad I bought a long time ago when I was in Europe. Only this sheet of paper remains in my possession and I wanted to know if anyone knows this “Caper Cat”?!?!
I’ve had it since the early ’90’s but I only recently came to the realization that it is a FAKE Hello Kitty…!!!
Does anyone know who this character is? I’ve checked the internet, sanrio and every cartoon, gaming, anime & manga site I can think of, but there is no mention of this cat…
Do you suppose this was sold in Europe as an imitation Hello Kitty?
I’m really interested in what you all think!

So I spent some time shopping for (the rest of the) school supplies (yes, school has already started here in the South!), and I decided to pay a visit to a few store I hadn’t been to in a very long time…
I went to Office Max, Office Depot and Circuit City. While my hubby browsed in the electronic section, I ran off next door to Toys R Us. I was greeted by a very friendly manager and I immediately told him I was looking for “ANYTHING Hello Kitty”—
He said they didn’t have anything but I should try the clearance section and possibly the girls’ accessories section.
He ran me all around the store to look at stuff, most of it was candy on a string.
We walked passed all the Care Bears, My Little Ponies, and Strawberry Shortcake, and I exclaimed “how can you not have Hello Kitty?”…
He smiled and said “I’m sorry we don’t have anything right now, but you’re welcome to come back and give us another try in a few weeks…”
He knew I was disappointed and then he said: “I’m pretty sure I have a very cute tin with 4 Hello Kitty pez dispensers—- how old is the child you’re shopping for…?”
I looked him square in the eye and I said, “I’m 40 and candy is not what I’m looking for!!!”
The poor guy was stunned and was at a loss for words. I left him standing there while I ran to the books & stationery section for one last desperate look—-and OMG this is what I found!!!!
ISBN: 1601390858 Hello Kitty Giant Sticker Activity Book (over 700 stickers) 2007
This book is not listed ANYWHERE; not book-a-million; not barnes & noble; not ebay; not amazon.com and nowhere on the internet…
Is this a lucky buy or what…?!?!?!?!? I guess you know by now that I’m just ecstatic! ![]()
I was looking at stuff on eBay and on Amazon.com and it occured to me that I can make a “wish list” of the things I’d like to have…
I suppose this would make it really handy for those folks who want to buy you something, but don’t know what you like…. so here is my list and I’ve emailed it to my friends & extended family!
Do you suppose they’ll think I’m strange cause I love Hello Kitty? oh well…

Although Legend of Mana is an “older” game (abt. 7 yrs), the reviews everywhere I’ve looked are pretty impressive…!
Originally made for Playstation, this game still rates at about a 7.5 on game ranking websites as far as plot, music and graphix.
The world of Fa’Diel is a mystical & beautiful place where the single player can complete 60 quests while finding precious artifacts which open portals to other worlds.
There seems to be a lot of thought put into the story-line; there’s a somewhat Celtic Lore to it, with faeries, magickal plants, legendary creatures and the magickal energy force of the Mana Tree which sustains all Life…
I’m being told that a “real” gamer doesn’t really like Legend of Mana because it lacks fierce battle scenes and is too “cute” to be a real game. But that doesn’t change the fact that it is an incredibly beautiful & entertaining game! Besides, it was created by Square Soft/Enix which is plenty enough for Me!
Other games in this series include: Sword of Mana; Children of Mana and I’m pretty sure Heroes of Mana
