I’m a married woman, just turned 40 and I’ve always loved Hello Kitty!
I grew up in Greece and I first met Hello Kitty from a sticker book-scrapbook in 1979!
The sticker book was free but the sticker packets (price was something like 25 drachmas) came in sets of 6, if I remember correctly.
The object was to finish the sticker book which had blank squares with numbers corresponding to the numbered stickers. Once the book was complete, you could enjoy Hello Kitty in a variety of scenes & outfits. These stickers were the equivalent to today’s Pokemon or YuGiOh craze!!!
Anyway, I came here to sanriotown to recapture my youth! I may be middle-aged but in my heart I’m still that same 12-yr old girl collecting Hello Kitty stickers for my scrapbook!!!
