Skip the cream, skip the sugar, here, we only serve our coffee black. I don’t spare feelings and I don’t listen to the radio. Here you get the best and worst, raw discovered, and sometimes undiscovered musical talent. Old, new, ska, screamo, rap or emo. I listen to it all with an unbiast ear and give you the pick of the lot.

 Here I’ll write band and album reviews, and let you in on the best today’s musical genres have to offer.

I mostly cover the alternative, rock, fusion scene, considering it’s a personal favorite but I can honestly say I’m in love with all kinds of music, and I give all of it my equal respect. This includes country, pop, and italian opera (all of which is on my iPod right now).

I’ve played piano all my life (unfortunately without lessons, or I feel I’d be even better). I’ve been playing drums for about a year and a half now, and although I play guitar, I will freely admit that I am not very good at it. Music has always been a huge part of my life, and although my parents always pushed scholastics above all, music has always been my guilty pleasure. I learn a new song on piano almost everyday, sometimes I can even listen to a song and scribble down music for it and play that (I guess I’m lucky in that way)

Then again, I’ve also always been in love with writing. I wrote my first full length novel (22 chapters and 52 pages) when I was in 3rd grade and I still enjoy it.

So I’ve combined my two hobbies (hardly skills) and made this hopefully helpful blog just for you and to sprad what little musical wisdom I possess.
