Oh my gosh! So my entire life I have stayed away from pepper jack cheese cuz I didn’t like jalepenos(however you spell that word)…but I just recently had some on a sandwich and have become insanely addicted!!! I swear I put pepper jack cheese on everything now!!!! It’s sooooooooo yummy!

Right now I am even eating pepper jack flavored cheez-its!!!!!

So yesterday as I was cleaning my 16 month baby girl wanted to help. She is getting to that independent stage where she wants to do it herself. So holding her while ~I~ try to clean doesn’t really work anymore.

We started with cleaning the bathroom. No, I didn’t let her near the hazerdous chemicals!!! After I scrubbed the tub…I let her pour water in it to “rinse” it clean. After cleaning the toilet and flushing the chemicals…I let her pretend to use the toilet brush in the freshly flushed water. And after cleaning the counters and sink I stood her up onto it and let her “help wash the mirror” with a dry towel. She had a blast! Who knew that cleaning a bathroom would be so much fun!!! Well, for HER anyways =P

So then it was time to clean up her toys so I (i mean…WE) could vacuum. Now that was a project in a half! I don’t think she totally understood that we were cleaning them up and NOT playing. Everytime I put toys away she pulled them back out. And everytime I put her books on their shelf she pulled them back down onto the floor. I think it took more then a half hour just to pick up the floor. Or, it at least felt like it! But once it was done it was time to vacuum! And well she didn’t really like that part. She ran and hid in the closet. Poor girl. I tried to hold her for some of the vacuuming…but she is getting heavy! She weighs 20 pounds now!

After vaccuming I was organizing her baby blankets and boxing some of them up for later use. And she completely surprised me!!!! You know those rocking horses that have the metal frame and are connected by four springs? Well I’m always so hesitant to let her play on it without me standing RIGHT THERE (I broke my wrist when I was 2 for falling off of one.) But as I was sitting on the floor across the room…I watched her climb up onto the rocking horse all by herself!!! It took everything in me to just sit there and NOT run by her side just incase she slipped. She couldn’t get back down by herself of course…after bouncing for a few minutes it was “dowm mama.” (I didn’t mispell dowm…that is how she says it. She can’t pronounce the N sound yet.)

Watching Bree grow is such a bittersweet adventure! I love it when she learns something new…but at the same time…SHE’S MY BABY!!!!!!

Okay so I’ve never ever ever blogged before…and I don’t really know what I’m even doing! I assume this is just a place that I can write random stuff? So I decided to theme my blog entries after my daughter!

 Her name is Breanna and she just turned 16 months old a couple days ago. She is my very first child and SUCH a little Angel-monster! I think she is kinda advanced compared to most “first” babies. Her daddy and I are currently living with my parents. Although we have bought our own condo…the economy is really making us struggle financially. But I think our current living arrangements have been quite the blessing when it comes to getting help with Bree. I have two siblings that are still living at home…and they have been beyond wonderful as far as helping out. Bree just ADORES her Auntie Emily(who she calls Neminy.) I think once we get back on our feet and move back “home” Bree is going to have such a hard time. She lived here at my parents house since she was 8 months old. I really don’t know if she remembers actually LIVING at the condo. We go there every few days to check on things, get the mail, do some cleaning, etc. So I know she KNOWS it at least exists.

On her 16 month birthday, Bree and I went for a long walk to the park. It was a really beautiful day and she is definetly an outdoorsy girl! Rain, snow, or shine she will stand at the door and say “buh bye” cuz she just wants to go out and run down the hill. So anyways, it was sorta her first time at the park. She’s been to parks last summer…but she prolly wouldn’t remember it cuz she was so young. Oh my goodness did she love it! Her first time interacting with other kids too! For awhile she just stood there and watched the other kids squeel and run around. I just stood back with the other parents and let her do her thing. Except for when she wanted to go down the slides….which was OVER AND OVER AND OVER again. She’s a little dare devil! I wouldn’t be surprised if she grows and up becomes a stunt worker for movies! The park was fun though. She didn’t want to leave!!!

Well, that’s all I’m going to put for now!
