Dementocat

Wednesday, March 12th, 2008

Now for something totally different.

Lolcats are usually sweet-looking animals that are the epitome of cuteness, but this little lolcat seems a bit unhinged for me. I just wanted to put this thing up because it felt a little bit . . . fitting. What I’m trying to do with this blog is to feature lolcats of all sorts, and this photo gives off enough lolcat vibes to make it worth noting.

Another Slow Day

Tuesday, March 11th, 2008

Okay, more loldogs this time around (traitor! traitor! hisss!)

Do you know how sometimes, the bad days just seem to follow you around? You’ll probably feel like UFO abductee dog right here:

Really. Today’s just one of those days.

Big Catz

Monday, March 10th, 2008

While I may spend most of my time focusing on the cute and cuddly animals, there is very little doubt in my mind that I favor the bigger cats rather than the usual kitties.

OK, maybe I still have my preferences. Like, I won’t really like this

despite the fact that it is, after all, a lion. I don’t really like lions as much as I like tigers:

Isn’t that animal adorable?

This cat is brilliant.

If only it weren’t so . . . gross.

The Loldogs

Thursday, March 6th, 2008

Lolcats have spawned throughout the internet. I wouldn’t be here if they hadn’t. But now, the canines have their own representatives in this continuing Internet phenomenon.

Let me introduce you to the loldogs:

Check these and more over at I has a hotdog.

Disclaimer: this is still a lolcat site. I just thought the enemy needed some exposure.

The Passing of a God

Thursday, March 6th, 2008

Yesterday, a huge tragedy hit the world of the geeks. A torch was snuffed out with the news of Gary Gygax’s passing.

Even the Lolcats paid tribute:

Farewell Dungeonmaster.

Lolcat Translator

Tuesday, March 4th, 2008

What’s a lolcat without the way they speak? If you had a lolcat that didn’t speak in that weird-but-cute lolcat way, would you still consider it a lolcat? Wouldn’t a photo of a cat speaking just be a photo of a cat speaking without the entire “I has cheezburger” one-liner.

Needless to say, a huge chunk of what makes a lolcat hilarious is the subject’s “speech.” And now, even YOU can start writing like a lolcat, thanks to this handy-dandy lolcat generator! Works just like a Babel fish program, but loads more fun (and 200% more accurate!). Visit the lolcat translator now; you never know when you’ll WANTS 2 SPEEK LIEK LOLCAT.
