Invisible Bike

Friday, February 29th, 2008

I never really delved into the various types of lolcats that can be found in the Internet. I never even knew that there were subdivisions in the types of lolcats that can be found.

But there’s one rather interesting type of lolcat that caught my interest right now. This source on the ‘net I read labelled it as the “Invisible Lolcat.”

Let the images speak for themselves:

I don’t know how people come up with these image macros - or the photos - but I have to say that they have some very, very talented cats.

Maxie the Lolcat

Wednesday, February 27th, 2008

Introducing Maxie the Lolcat.

You just have to love cute cats that know how to treat the camera. It doesn’t hurt that Maxie’s an adorable little thing.

Slow

Tuesday, February 26th, 2008

It’s a slow day. So I decided to look for pirates.

But not just any pirates.

I searched for lolcat pirates.

Rarr. Yeah, I’m bored something deadly.

This Time, It’s Real

Friday, February 22nd, 2008

This time, I will really take a break from Lolcats to post about a more serious, more worthy topic.

Forty-six odd years ago, a hero by the name of Steve Irwin was born. Today, therefore, is the birthday of the man that was technically responsible for making crocodiles (and, subsequently after his death, manta rays) celebrities.

Shame on you, stingray. Shame.

Mirror of Life (again)

Thursday, February 21st, 2008

Aaaand here we are again. A couple of entries ago, I wrote about how lolcats mirror life, using Sir Patrick Stewart’s phenomenally impressive “Do Not Want!” meme and an equally silly-looking lolcat.

This time, our victim is Jamie Hyneman from Discovery Channel’s Mythbusters.

This is him:

Handsome bugger eh? Here’s his lolcat equivalent:

I just love silly lolcats.

A Breakfrom the Lolcats

Tuesday, February 19th, 2008

To bring you this special announcement:

This little thing is up for grabs:

That thing is a limited edition Hello Kitty USB drive. Small as a pin, more intense than your average cd-rom. You can win one of these little babies via this competition. That’s cuter than any lolcat you can think of.

Okay, I lied. We won’t be taking a break from the lulz.

they’re just too cute.

Oh My

Thursday, February 14th, 2008

This makes it official - lolcats are taking over the planet.

This is an image you’d be likely to see at the Lolcat Bible Translation Project. A bit tongue in cheek with the translations, the bible is a pretty impressive body of work, and is a continuing work in progress.

The Lolcat’s Retort

Thursday, February 14th, 2008

Remember that post of mine about how lolcats have this really strong tendency to speak in baby talk - or what is apparently called “lolcatspeak?”

Well, I sure had this one coming:

That is one ferocious looking lolcat.

On Escapism

Thursday, February 14th, 2008

This is just really useless. But cute, nonetheless.

Although I can understand why some people feel the need to escape once in a while. As a matter of fact, we all need to get away from the hustle and bustle of life sometimes.

Take me away lolcat

The Kissing Scene Lolcat

Monday, February 11th, 2008

Icanhascheesburger is a literal treasure trove of lolcats in every shape, size, and persuation. This selected lolcat, though, kinda caught my attention.

I don’t know about other people, but I grew up with people who would cover my eyes when actors kiss on television or in the movies. I find it hilarious, now that I’m older. I couldn’t help but grin when I saw the image.
