Going To Americal?

I might be going to Americal on a student exchange program. now i need to know does it snow in Jan in USA? And anythink else u think i need to know please tell me beacuse i’ve allways wanted to go to USA.

    right now it’s cold and rainyyy wet! and up north from my area it snows.
