Ahoy, Mates!

Hoist the anchors, let furl the main sail!!  Now announcing the grand unveiling of the one and only Pirate Guild here on HKO!

The Pirate Guild will be committed to displaying the best sort of behavior akin to online gaming.  We will be looking to recruit the finest of players who also share our vision of a fun, friendly and dynamic gaming atmosphere.

The rules of the Pirate Guild are simple:

1              Friendly – First and foremost, we are friendly Pirates.  Bad language or mean-spirited chat will not be tolerated either within the Guild or with other players.  Guard your tongues, lads.

2              Honorable – Issues such as unnecessary begging or cheating are expressly forbidden and those found guilty will be removed from the Guild and forced to walk the plank.

3              Polite – We treat all persons we chat with in the game with respect regardless of guild or level.  We may be Pirates, but we’re chivalrous.

4              Responsible – Assistance for fellow Pirates is always encouraged, but should never be expected or demanded. We be Pirates, not beggars and thieves!

5              Able to Take Orders – Members of the Guild are expected to listen to and follow orders given through the chain of command.  Should there be a dispute in the chain, you may bring it up with a Lieutenant or the Captain.

6              Have Fun – Aaarrrgh!  Need I say more?

Those who have had dealings with members of the Pirate Guild know us to have a solid reputation as being helpful, fair and honest.  Wearing the Pirate name on your person not only means you will have the responsibility of upholding the Pirate legacy, but you, too, will find other players viewing you with the respect the Pirates have earned.

Your commanding officer will be Captain Harlock followed by his Lieutenants.

All new recruits will be assigned the rank of Crewman.  Upon showing yourself to be worthy you may even find yourself rising up the ranks to Quartermaster or Lieutenant!   However, breaking Guild rules may find you groveling down to the low, low rank of Swab!

Please feel free to email Captain.Harlock@hellokitty.com to apply for acceptance into the Pirate Guild, but be sure we will be hand picking those players to whom we shall tip our hats and say, “Welcome aboard, mate!”  Sincerely,The Captain
