Congrats to all of the guilds who won the Food for Friends competition!  It’s really wonderful that Sanrio came up with a way that their members can help those less fortunate, as well as make it fun, exciting, and rewarding for those who participated!  I’m so happy that it was a success, and I hope to see contests like this one in the future!

Lol…so I guess I was a bit too late for the founders beta! =^_^= that’s okay, it’s going to become open soon, and then I will be able to have tons of fun in the HKO world!

Ack! things have been so busy these past few months, I don’t know where to begin!  Sorry for the long absence, but schoolwork takes precedence, you know?

I think I did very well at my summer job, and I try to go visit the people there when I can.  I am now back at school, which means my internet access is a little more limited than it used to be.  I didn’t forget about HKO, though!  I’ve just been super-busy this month!  I am so excited about the beta right now, I just sent in my e-mail today, so I hope that I am not too late!

Oh, and a little belated happy-birthday to Hello Kitty!!

Wow! I’ve been gone for a little while!  I got a job, and so I’ve been working 8 hrs a day…keeping busy, lol.

 I have been trying to keep up with the news on HKO however! So I just wanna say first, CONGRATULATIONS!! lol! Way to go ripplecloud for winning the trailer contest! That’s absolutely great!  Your video is awesome, too!

I may sound a little stupid for admitting this, but I had to ask my older brother what the “Q’s” stood for.  He says that they stand for the word “Quarter”.  Apparently, in business terms, the year is divided into 4 quarters, and the dates are specifically designed to the company’s schedule.  However, we wouldn’t be able to know when each quarter begins/ends without more information. (Thanks big bro! lol)

I love all of the interior items in the preview!  I can’t wait to get started playing HKO! 

This is going to completely KILL Gaia Online, IMHO.  I was on Gaia Online for a little while, and let me just tell you that the community here at Sanrio Town is much more friendly, and the moderators are very kind and fair.  The people here respect eachother as individuals, and even if opinions clash, and that’s what I like the most. Yet I digress…

I really like the idea of being able to interact with every item in the home as well! That puts a cool spin on things…it’s not just pleasing to the eyes, but you and your friends can actually sit at the table, or you can sleep in your own bed! I’m really looking forward to HKO and the Hompy system!!!!
