His music really speaks to me and the production is unparalleled. The highly intelligent lyrics, paired with the amazing music production that is like a combination of hip hop, motown, motion picture soundtrack, etc. makes for music that is right for all occasions and most ages
I invite him out - his reply “I’ll hit you up”
He offers to come visit me while I’m sick and says, “I have to run home and then I’ll hit you up.”
Ugh! If I hear that statement, or see it texted to me, one more time from a certain individual I’m going to hit him upside his head with my stiletto!
This brings me back to the book “He’s Just Not That Into You” by Greg Behrendt and Liz Tuccillo, which was originally purchased for me by my dad after I kicked my ex-husband out for cheating. I was really offended when I read the title but he re-assured me that it was an awesome book to read. He said, “I’m a man and the stuff in this book is completely true!”
So ladies, and gents, I highly encourage you to read this book, or watch the movie…whatever.
Synopsis: “He’s just not that into you if he’s not asking you out, not calling you, not dating you, not sleeping with you, he’s sleeping with someone else, only wants to see you when he’s drunk or high, doesn’t want to marry you, is breaking up with you, has disappeared on you, he’s married (or other insane variations of being unavailable - like working or studying too much), or if he’s a selfish jerk bully or really big freak.”
