Let’s talk about some facts, something which every Sanriotowner can never go wrong with. That is a big lovely smile! February 1st is the International Smile day. Show your affection to all beloved ones with a big smile upon your face!

An idea would be drawing smileys whenever possible or why not making smiley face cookies to cherish the day? Do not forget to post them on Sanriotown too though! ;-)

This reminds us a quote from an old movie by the way; “i never imagined something simple like a smile could be the most important thing you bring to someone else’s life.”

Sanriotown - The online home of Hello Kitty and friends

Dear Hello Kitty friends, January  26th is Chinese New Year and the start of the Year of the Ox.  It is sometimes called the Lunar New Year, especially by people outside China. The festival traditionally begins on the first day of the first lunar month in the Chinese calendar and ends with the Lantern festival on the 15th day of the new year.

It´s a time full of dragon dances, fireworks, family meals and red presents, as red is a symbol of luck. Happy Chinese new year to all the Sanriotown friends far east!

Check out the Ecard section for our lovely Chinese New Year cards with Hello Kitty and her friends.

Dear Sanriotown pinksters,

January 6th is Epiphany (Greek for “to manifest” or “to show”), which is a Christian feast day celebrating the three wise man visiting the newborn Jesus Christ. Wishing you a happy day.
