Hello to all Hello Kitty lovers! Today, 14th of July is the Bastille day in France. For the ones, who do not recall this special day, it is the French national holiday, celebrated on 14 July each year.

In France, it is called “Fête Nationale” (”National Holiday”). It commemorates the 1790 Fête de la Fédération, held on the first anniversary of the storming of the Bastille on 14 July 1789; the anniversary of the storming of the Bastille was seen as a symbol of the uprising of the modern French nation, and of the reconciliation of all the French inside the constitutional monarchy which preceded the First Republic, during the French Revolution. Okay, this is enough for a daily dose of cultural information now it is time to enjoy this merry day!

Do you love Hello Kitty, the colour pink and fashion as much as the Twins do? If so, this is the perfect opportunity for you to demonstrate your creative skills and imagination.
Sanriotown Europe is proud to present Samanda’s ‘Design-A-T-Shirt’ competition. With this creative contest, you will have the chance to design your own T-Shirt with the theme of Sanriotown, the online home of Hello Kitty and Friends. Let your pink imagination go wild! You can design a simple Hello Kitty head T-Shirt or use your own unique design it’s entirely up to you. Our lovely Twins, Samanda, will be judging the competition and selecting the T-shirt that they think has the best design. The winning design will then be printed on a high-quality T-Shirt which the Twins will wear about and about! It is your chance to style our fashionista Twins now with the coolest Sanriotown T-shirt ever! (Of course you will receive one too ) Please see the details below to get started:

How to enter:

• First, download this white T-Shirt template here. Then create your own T-Shirt design. You can use any Sanriotown character. View the sections on Submission and Design Guidelines for more details.
• Once you are done, send your design to: events-uk@sanriotown.com
• The designs will be judged by Sam & Amanda. When the winners are selected, the T-Shirt designs will be posted on Sanriotown.com The winning design will be printed on 100% organic T-Shirts, as the official Sanriotown T-Shirt, and featured on Sanriotown. • The submission deadline is 1st of August 2008, at midnight!

Prizes:
