Hayao Miyazaki’s Ponyo!!!

I saw this movie recently (big Hayao Miyazaki fan) and I must say that Howl’s Moving Castle is still his best one (my opinion, Castle in the Sky comes second).

I found Ponyo very charming and adorable, but sometimes it dragged (no dialogue). The artwork is amazing (duh) and love the characters. Miyazaki is a genius!!! If you haven’t watched Ponyo yet, I suggest you do.

If you missed what the story is about… Ponyo is a goldfish who wants freedom, swims ashore and meets a boy. She then longs to become human to be with the little boy. No drama, just a sweet story.

It’s been a while since I posted. I’m doing a lot of other stuff lately, but anyways…

While looking around the web, I found something really interesting courtesy of Japan. All cute things come from there so I’m not really surprised to see this cutie.

It’s called “Blog Charm”. It’s basically a charm hanging on your page. You can pick any charm or mini charm to adorn your chain. By clicking on the camera at the bottom, it generates a link that you can put on your blog, website… anywhere you want. Make sure you have a seperate table/div for it on your page, otherwise it will pop up in your main page.

I’ve been working on my livejournal layout for a couple of days now and here is the new look:

I wanted to give it a cute, bloggish feel to it and after three days of playing around with codes, I finally did it. I just love the layout. I’m still fixing one glitch. The girl is from a Korean site. I’m not  sure if it belongs to “Fantastyle” by Phil K or it’s an illustration by someone else. I  might have the image change from time to time. Also the text is in Japanese and it means “I love you bear”. If you want to check my lj, the link is in the sidebar ❤

I was bored one day and was playing around with photoshop and I created Hello Kitty as Mika Nakashima’s collaboration known as Mica3Chu.

I wanted to do the hair, but I got scared so I just left it like this. Isn’t she cool!

My first post for my blog. I should make it special. Maybe lots of pics… nah.

I love Sanrio and try to shop at least every 3 months (they’re not cheap) for Sanrio merchandise. We have… I think, 3 Sanrio shops here on Aruba. Our local Supermarkets carry some one of a kind merchandise as well so it’s always fun.
