Animation, drawings, color, and cuteness. What could go wrong? We think… nothing! This great combination makes for an awesome blog, especially for the art lovers and striving artists out there.

“許・美美“, a blog by kurohiko, features all her artwork, most noticeably of characters from the Sanrio anime “Onegai My Melody” featuring the likes of My Melody and Kuromi, other shows, as well as those from console games. Don’t let the title intiimdate you, because her entries are in English. Her take on these well-loved characters are different though: instead of drawing them as how they usually appears, she creates entirely different environments for them, creating her very own “What if?” scenarios. The result: great pictures you will probably never see anywhere else owing to the unique settings these can be found.

Kasumi and Ao-chan’s Randomness =D

Sanrio’s known for its many unique characters, from white mouthless felines who speak from the heart to talking food, we’ve got a whole bunch of goofy, memorable icons that are loved by people all over the world. It’s no surprise that members of Sanriotown could also come up with their very own characters of their own, and this week’s featured blogger is one of them!

Everyone, meet the little blue rabbit Ao-Chan! He’s a little blue rabbit who’s the best friend of Kasumi, and they share in writing entries for their blog “Kasumi and Ao-chan’s Randomness =D“. Ao-chan is actually a five-inch stuffed toy made by Kasumi, which she brings everywhere with her. He’s got his very own personality, having an unhealthy obsession for junk food and video games, does breakdancing, and a bit grumpy. He and Kasumi make for a great tandem, arguing to their heart’s content on their entries and having the time of their lives writing. If they’re not arguing on the blog, they tell stories of their adventures - and of them arguing while enjoying it too.:D

Certifiable bookworms will love this week’s featured blog, as it is made by a book lover for book lovers!

“Book Lovers Unite!” is all about books, books, and more books! Almost every entry is dedicated to a series or a novel, usually in the fantasy or sci-fi genres. The entries are especially interesting because the author takes the readers’ suggestions on what to feature, and also volunteers which ones she likes that follow a person’s favorite book, so it’s very fun and interactive.

If you still have a Cinnamoroll fix from last week’s featured blog, fear not, because you’ll get more cute fan-made drawings of the lovable flying puppy with this week’s latest addition to the Blog All-Stars!

“~CinnaBunz~” and kid_cat7’s blogs are actually similar to each other - maybe because they authors are actually acquainted with each other! Cute, self-drawn “oekaki” images dominate the entries, the most prominent being Sanrio’s own Cinnamoroll! It shows the white little puppy in various situations and costumes, always appearing adorable, of course! The author has also posted pictures she’s drawn by hand, very interesting artwork that would surely fascinate artists and those who want to get into the drawing business. She even comes up with her own words (can anyone say “floofy”?), and shows her emotions via her drawings, which makes reading her blog much more amusing.

Just about every person is creative: it just depends on what form it will appear in. Some are good at drawing, others in writing, there are also those who are involved with music, movement, and performing. This week’s featured blogger has a creative soul, as she not only can draw but also write short poems!

“The Blog of Stories and Randomness” is really interesting to read. She’s a self-confessed Sanrio fan who even came up with her own character as a result of her love for the cute things here. The most striking thing about her blog would be the cute pictures she’s drawn herself on her computer, usually featuring her cartoon version of herself and Cinnamoroll, her favorite character. She also tries her hand at poetry, posting some of her works on her blog. She also has amazing insights that is unexpected of a young person, but certainly not unwelcome.

Ripplecloud’s HKO test blog

Now that we’re nearing the end of the Hello Kitty Online beta testing, let’s take a look back at what the testers experienced: from the point-of-view of one of the players herself! Ripplecloud’s blog is a great site to visit not only if you want to read up on HKO, but also to get a daily dose of amusement and cuteness rolled into one.

Ripplecloud’s blog is not just a dry narration of what she’s experienced in the game, what places she’s visited there, the friends she made, etc. She tells all of these by adding her unique touch to it: not only does she share amusing stories about the adventures she’s had in the game, but she also adds images with very funny captions and dialogues. Imagine giving dialogues for the pets, online parties, GM encounters, mixed with goofiness and Sanrio characters and you’ll get an idea what this blog is all about!

Jamila has a lot of fun stories to share about her life, and even includes pictures of the adventures she’s had, like her wall climbing and hiking in Bryce Canyon. Like your typical teen, she also loves pop culture, especially music and TV shows, which she talks about in her blog. Her entries are light and fun, but her tone also invites you to read more to know about her stories.
