Look which Sanrio character series has gotten its own anime!The Jewelpets, a product of the collaboration between Sanrio and Sega, are starring in their new anime. There are 33 adorable pets to be seen, all of them named after jewels, such as Rubby, Sapphire (or “Sapphy”), and Garnet (or “Net”). They belong to magicians in “Jewelland”, and they can even use magic themselves, thanks to their jewel eyes. In fact, they learn how to use their powers every day, but the poor rabbit Ruby gets accidentally transported into the human world, and comes to the care of Rinko Kōgyoku, a middle school girl, and this is where their adventures begin!
