Take a look at this great example of a modern-day mommy!Mrs. Awesome Planet is called an “experimental” blog by its writer. She mostly talks about her adventures as a mother of her two young sons. She has shopping tips and suggestions for events for mommies and their kids, so this is something that women with children would definitely enjoy reading up on. She also has ideas for family vacations and activities that everyone would get to enjoy, from the daddy of the family to the young ones!

Strange news to Hello Kitty fans: Sanrio Japan recently released a toy collection featuring their key icon not only with a mouth, but without a nose as well.Hello Kitty Mouth

There are three “mouthed” Hello Kitty designs you can choose from, each of which has three items following that: a hair tie, a mini-towel, and a wire mascot. You can twist and turn the toy in whatever position you want her to be, because the limbs are pretty flexible. You can even make her balance on one foot, because its hands and feet have magnets that you can attach to a metallic surface to keep her on her toes.

Happy birthday, My Melody!

My Melody My Melody has been part of the Sanrio line since 1975. She was originally designed to be their version of Little Red Riding Hood, but they eventually dropped this in her story and instead came up with a completely different one, which includes her family and friends.

Little Twin Stars Year Created: 1974

Real Names: Kiki (the younger brother) and Lala (the older sister)

Birthday: 1974

The twins were born on Compassion Planet, in Dream Galaxy. They were really curious about life on Earth and spent time wondering about it, and so they asked their father, an inventor, and their mother, a poetess, if they could visit it, and they agreed. Saying goodbye to their friends the sun, moon, stars, and clouds, and with Lala’s star wand guiding them, they reached Earth safely and have since spread happiness to everyone they meet.

Kiki loves to fish for stars, explore new planets, and invent new things (he takes after his father!) He loves spring and summer the best, because he likes to look at fields of dandelions from his cloud-top perch.

Lala likes to cook, draw pictures, and compose poetry (she takes after her mother!) She loves autumn and winter the best (she writes to her father and mother while floating inthe clear winter sky).
