Name: Pekkle

Birthday: July 27

Year Created: 1989

Pekkle is a white duck hailing from Australia. He wants to be a lifeguard, even if he has trouble swimming. He’s pretty laid-back, often being mistaken for laziness. For all his appearance, he loves singing and dancing, and even body surfing! If you want to find him, the best place to look for would be the beach, as he usually hangs out there with Pich the Fish and his girlfriend Ruby. Currently, he’s enrolled in a tapdancing class.

Ruby

Ruby: The kind and gentle girlfriend of Pekkle.

Pich

Pich: The fishy best friend and swimming instructor of Pekkle. He has a lot of brothers, and only the little white duck can tell him apart from them. He’s mischievous, always playing tricks on people.

Carl

Carl: Carl is a handsome duck, always popular with the girls. He likes Ruby, making him somewhat of a rival for Pekkle.

Booto

Booto: Booto likes lifting weights. Although he is tough, he also has a sweet side, crushing on Frill, Ruby’s cousin.

Charra

Charra: Charra is a bird who likes to have fun but also tries to play it tough, hanging around with Booto!

Posty

Posty: Posty is the resident mailman who takes pride in always being punctual in his deliveries.

    I wish that sanrio.com can produce more pekkle products & create “pekkle.com” email. NOT only hello kitty. I believe that pekkle is one of popular character in sanrio. But, sanrio always neglect this cute character. PEKKLE is so poor!! :(

    I was so dissappointed when they retired Pekkle. I enjoyed collecting all of his products. I think Sanrio should bring him back. I still have a Pekkle shirt, wallet, organizer and they are falling apart. Please bring Pekkle back. A true Pekkle fan.

    I think somebody tried to attack pekkle. We may choose our favorite character, but please respect ourselves & our favorite character.

    OMG!! I thot i was the only one crazy about Pekkle. He is such a unique sanrio character and i have fallen in love with him since more than 10 years ago. I tried so hard to find pekkle products everywhere but why is sanrio not making more of them? Please revive Pekkle!

    I want to visit Puroland to find Pekkle. Anyone can tell me more about it?

    I am just back from Puroland in Tokyo. It is such an amazing and delightful place! Best of all, i saw Pekkle dancing along with all the other Sanrio characters. Though it is true there are not many Pekkle products that i can buy there, i did manage to bring home a little plush toy as a souvenir. Can Sanrio please continue to market Pekkle as he is really such an adorable character.

    I Wish also that they would bring PEKKLE back too!!! I was one of those die hard fans and since they discarded him, I somewhat forgot about him…thanks to Sanrio…booo!!!! Hello Kitty’s cool and all, but she isn’t the best. I love Pekkle and I wish that they would bring him back for my kids now…I would so buy all his products for my son.

    I love Pekkle since I was 13.Until now I still have him and has not stop collecting his products. My younger sis, who is in Japan and loves Pekkle as well can’t seems to find him as well.We r very sad.He’ll always be our favourite duck!Hope Sanrio will bring Pekke back again to our lives! =)

    We named our Pomeranian after this duck. His actual papered name is Ahiru no Pekkle. He is awesome! We call him “Pek.”
