PlayStation 2: Bleach Blade Battlers Review

bleach005

This is probably old news to the BLEACH fans, but a recent review from Sumodownload gave a podcast on the PlayStation 2 game, “Bleach Blade Battlers”.

Based on the popular Japanese anime today, Bleach: Blade Battlers lets you creatively make battles against bleach characters, may it be cooperative or a four way battle royale. Relive that battle episodes and feel the intensity of how the battle occurred by letting Ichigo and Byakuya fight again or make funny battles by using Kon against Zaraki Kenpachi (Where Kon really has a chance to win!).

I have to say, the sound of the announcer is a bit off. But the overall review was quite good.

Please do visit the Sumodownload blog for the complete review on Bleach Blade Battlers (including the script for the podcast).

Ishida Game Review

Hi there, Ishida here to give you a complete game review of the latest update to a fantastic old PSP game, Bleach: Heat the Soul 4.

The fourth installment stays true to the Anime series by following the exact storyline., The game immerses you to take on the role of its characters and see what they have seen through their eyes.

This time around there are 40 characters available but most of them are locked. You can unlock them by completing the single player missions of the default players as well as acquiring points.

game3

As always the gameboot shows a little video of a fighting scene, which is a trademark of all Heat the Soul games.

game2

The game is in Japanese. Like all Bleach games, they’re only made for Japan so there is no hope for an English version. Don’t worry because the navigation is in English so you won’t get lost.

game6

True to the anime, it follows along the storyline and is complete with dialog and cut scenes.

game4

The action is always fast paced and based on combos. The controls are pretty simple but you have to figure them out on your own.

Stay-tuned for the continuation of my review as I need to do more play time to better understand the game.
