Wow, I occasionally get comments on that Movie Rants blog haha. I’m glad most of you liked it :). I don’t know if I’ll do anymore rants, I just need something to rant about :P.

So, this weekend I visited Las Vegas, Nevada as well as Arizona…this seems pretty stupid, but I actually don’t know which city I was in.

Las Vegas AKA Sin City was alright. We arrived there on Friday and we stayed at Monte Carlo hotel. I didn’t really like the hotel mainly because: a guy kicked me in the lazy river, the hotel wasn’t as cool as it should’ve been (the air conditioner should’ve been on more because Vegas is already really hot), and I prefer the Venetian. However, my family and I didn’t stay at the Venetian like we usually do because it was too pricey, and if you’re gonna pay a lot of money, you might as well stay longer because of the great commodities.
So you might be wondering about the incident where a stupid guy kicked me in the lazy river. Well, I was just kinda floating around (standing up a little, as half the other people were), and the idiot was swimming backwards. Apparently, he’s not alert with others around him and thinks that he and his friends were there alone. I also think he was drunk because he was acting kind of crazy and wild. He didn’t even apologize. Yes it did hurt, and even if it didn’t, it’s common courtesy to just simply say “I’m sorry” even if you just bump into someone you don’t know. That guy is such a retard, ugh. I hope he drowned or something, I really don’t care what happens to him as long as he feels tortured. Sorry if I sound cruel, but that hurt when he kicked me. It was an accident that could have been avoided though.

Although my cousins were there in Arizona, it kind of sucked. All my cousins do is: watch TV or connect with their Nintendo DS. That means we can’t talk or have fun because there are only 4 DS’s, and everyone wants to play. -__- It’s so annoying. But whatever, ehh I just have to deal with it. xP

On the first day in Arizona, we all went to eat at this one restaurant/steakhouse and it was soo amazingly good. :O There were Native American dancers (performing :P) as well during our dinner. It was incredible. Haha and later when we left, a few of my cousins and I talked to this talented dancer. His act was so awesome and elaborate, I would’ve recorded it and posted it on youtube for everyone, but I don’t have a camera. :/ Ahh I hope I see the performance again sometime though.

Umm well I think that’s all? Haha okay. I’m gonna start putting up music I like. Maybe you’ll like it as well. This idea was kind of from swimchick.net. That site’s really cool, check it out.

Like I said in my previous blog, the blog right after it will be reviews/rants about movies I’ve recently watched - in and out of the theatre. Because I didn’t want people to say “oh if it’s a review, why are you only criticizing?”, I just put movie RANTS. Just to stay safe But yeah I’ll add some positive stuff here, too. Please be aware, I don’t mean to spoil the movie for you. I’ll try not to, but ehh.

Okay, I’ll start with Nancy Drew first. It was a pretty great movie. WAYY better than I expected, I highly recommend watching it! I thought it was gonna be something kinda lame but wow I was completely wrong. The plot and characters were great, and I enjoyed every second of it. It seems kiddy, but it’s really good!
Although I enjoyed the movie, there were some parts that weren’t all that great. For example, there was a scene where Nancy was chasing some guy…but she couldn’t go over the speed limit?! like wth. And before that lame chase, those guys put a bomb in her car. WHO IN THE WORLD TRIES TO BOMB A 15/16 YEAR OLD GIRL?!?! Seriously. She’s not even a real detective/police officer! But I guess that’s what it takes to make the movie convincing. =/

Now, on to Pirates of the Caribbean 3: At World’s End. I don’t really have anything nice to say about this movie. It was just lousy. The first two were great but this movie just shattered the trilogy. DON’T WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY ON THIS MOVIE. I could tell you what happens right now. It’s really simple. To top that, the movie was long; about 2 and a half hours! You don’t want to sit throug this UNLESS you have nothing else to do. Geez, it just sucked. Basically they just try to save Jack and free Will Turner’s father…and since it’s the end of POTC, “the good guys win”. BTW, watch until the end of the credits , and there’s kind of a good surprise? I honestly don’t know because I had enough of that movie, so I just left right when they played the credits.
However, the graphics and actors did somewhat of a good job in the movie…

Okay, Fantastic Four 2: Rise of the Silver Surfer (or something like that). I thought this movie was okay. I mean, if you want to watch it, go ahead. But it’s not like “OMG I HAVE TO SEE THIS AWESOME NEW MOVIE”. So yeah. Jessica Alba is really ugly with her blond hair, blue eyes, and constant blue eye shadow. Yeah, she’s kind of pretty but wow she looks horrendous compared to her other movies and appearances. She just doesn’t look nice as the “blonde haired, blue-eyed beauty”. There are a few goofs, but they’re kind of hard to spot and that’s okay. If you really want to know, check ‘em out at imdb.com and search for this movie.
The movie had kind of the same plot as a few other movies - some alien is trying to destroy/take over the earth and it takes human(s)-turned-superhero(es) to save earth and the human race.
Other than those, it was I guess great? haha.

The most recent movie I’ve seen is Shrek 3. Hmm like fantastic four, watch this movie if you want, but it’s not like an oscar winner (is that right, lol?). It was funny, but there wasn’t really that much of a plot…
There was this one completely obvious goof-up. I HOPE THIS ISN’T A SPOILER, though I doubt it is one. Shrek, Donkey, and Puss [in Boots] were on a ship and Fiona yelled that she’s pregnant. I’m sure most of you have seen that in a commercial. Anyways, a little bit later, Shrek was all worried because he didn’t really want children. So he just asked out loud “how did this happen?” and Puss was going to explain sexual intercourse haha. Then shrek was all not HOW, but kind of like why it happened, and he walks away. Then Donkey asked “how does it happen?”…FYI, Donkey has 6 (more or less) kids…so why would he be asking that sort of question WHEN HE HAS ALREADY DONE IT. That just kinda bothered me.

Well that’s the end haha. I guess it actually was a REVIEW, not just a rant.

Yes, sadly I have dropped down to myspace yet again. My previous/first account had been hacked and I wasn’t able to access it. So since it’s summer I’ll entertain myself with staring at other users’ profiles. ahaha. Well, sorry I can’t let you add me, it’s kind of private for my friends only…even though it’s set as public display, just so other people know it’s me. But otherwise, my pictures and blogs are private and only my friends can view them.

Okay, the next blog will probably be like a rant/review [negative review :P] about the summer movies I’ve watched. I think it’ll be short but yeah. Hopefully it won’t spoil it for you.

Well today my cousin and my “beloved” seniors (WTF haha) are graduating. I love you class of 2007!
O_O That class also has a winning streak in my school’s talent shows ever since high school. So since 2003/2004 (?), OA’s c/o ‘07 has won the talent show…kinda freaky. But in my opinion, class of 2007 rocks. They have so many great people there.<3

ANYWAYS haha in about two hours, I have my dentist appointment. I really don’t mind the dentist it just feels weird to have this person stare at you for dang, how many minutes? Well it’s long, I can tell you that for sure. If I didn’t have that appointment, I’d go to my cousin’s graduation.

Tomorrow is the last day of school. I’m actually kind of excited. ehh bipolar-ness lol

Hmm that’s all. I think my grades are pretty good. However, I don’t have a 4.0 but I’m satisfied and I think my parents will be too 3.7 or 3.9, here I come and of course, summer vacation♥ oh yeahhh xD

DANGIT, I keep forgetting to blog.

Well mainly because of laziness and those darn finals to study for. Um yeah. I should seriously blog more often.
Oh, by the way, I got detention on the 6th…about a week ago. :/ It was for violating the dress code. It’s not like my school’s free dress and I DID NOT dress like a slut. I got a detention because I was wearing a white and pink Billabong sweater, which does not fit in the category of “red, white, blue, gray, black colors without words on it” sweaters.

Hmm, I really want to blog my commentary on some celebrity gossip thing, such as: Paris Hilton in jail, which has many controversies between people…Mainly that’s it because that’s what’s sparking in the news nowadays. I think I’ll elaborate on that issue in a few days hopefully. Or I’ll just dish on any celebrity that’s really disgusting to society. Unfortunately, there are wayyy too many to list.

In addition, I’m actually very saddened by the fact that school ends on Tuesday, June 19. Since my school goes from 7th to 12th grade, the seniors are leaving, and some are very dear to me. Some of my friends are leaving as well which makes it even worse because I’ve gotten to be best friends with some of them. However, I am glad that some people -that I do NOT favor- are leaving.

I think that’s it for now. I’m just study for my English final that takes place tomorrow. Ehh…

My history final is in TWO DAYS, on Wednesday! I hate the chapter on Medieval Europe. It’s just so confusing. If you don’t know this one ruler and what he did, or this one event, when you read the next thing that comes after if, you won’t get what they’re saying. -_- It’s annoying.

Well I’ve gotta get back to my studying. Fortunately, the history final is 100 points, BUT the teacher’s curving it to 80 points. What that means is that if you score anything over 80, it’s extra credit and you can put it in any category: Projects (30% of grade), Tests (25%), Quizzes (25%), Homework/Classwork (15%), Participation (5%). Depending on if or how much extra credit I get, I’ll either put it under Participation or Projects. I don’t participate so if I only manage to score a few points, I’ll put it there. But if I’m lucky and I score a lot, I’ll probably put it under projects.

Yes, I had my piano recital earlier today.

It’s weird, I got more nervous than I have before. Unfortunately, I didn’t memorize my song, BUUUT I memorized about half of the 7 pages. At least I didn’t forget the first few pages that I had memorized, whew. The recital actually went by pretty quickly.

I got up there and I was shaking…and I didn’t stop shaking even at the end. It looked so weird to see my hands all shaking when I was telling myself to stop, lol.

Oh, yes I love my outfit. (Sorry if that sounds conceited >_<) And I can’t post up pictures because the camera doesn’t work. =/ So yeah…

Please excuse the length of my blog. You don’t have to read the entire thing unless you are bored and have absolutely nothing else to do.
…but you know, my blog isn’t as important as helping the environment (I’m a tree-hugger, is that so bad?) or the community. Hint-hint, I don’t advise reading my blog since it is very long. It even took me about 30 minutes to write this entire blog.

WELLL, I have this one friend named Phuong. (I seriously hope she doesn’t see this O_O). She’s REALLY starting to bug me. I seriously don’t know when it started, and I wish this stupid thing didn’t start. She just is bothering me…I guess it’s her nature because she’s been bothering others as well even before she met me.

Yesterday, she borrowed my wite-out and STILL hasn’t returned it. I guess that can be put into my blame for not reminding her, but wite-out isn’t the only thing she hasn’t borrowed and returned back.

She also has my math book. She decided to take it home a few months ago, and although I’ve reminded her before, she still hasn’t returned it. I believe the book check is next Thursday, but I need to use MY math book to study for the upcoming final next Tuesday. Why is it that I have to be the one to have the burden of worrying that I’d have to pay for my book If she lost it (when you are in debt, there are restrictions such as NOT GETTING YOUR YEARBOOK which is the most important to me right now), and I have to be the one to lug the book around home and back to school? Hmm, I think I’ve about cleared up the math book incident. There are even more details to that math book incident, but this is already an extremely long post.

It also seems that I have a better music collection on my iPod than she does, and she also likes many of my songs. So on the bus, she’s always asking to borrow it to listen to my better-than-her-songs songs. I’ve gotten to playing games on her iPod because the music just sucks so badly that I need SOMETHING entertaining. Yes, she’s asked me to send her songs (I’m emailing them to her right now), but she’s the one with Limewire. Can’t she just download her own songs? I don’t even have Limewire and I can still expand my music collection with good music. And yes, I admit that I delay sometimes when sending songs because I forget. But what about when I ask her to send me songs? Well, she just doesn’t at all. Okay, once again, SHE has Limewire and I don’t. I only delay songs she wants by ONE DAY but she NEVER sends the songs I want. She can just easily download the songs she wants off of limewire. I’ve tried Limewire - it ain’t that hard, folks.

Another iPod issue is that a few times she sees me listening to my iPod calmly not disturbing anyone (me, of course) she just comes and grabs my iPod. That doesn’t really bother me, but then sometimes she just blasts up the freaking volume. OMFG, WHY THE HECK DOES SHE DO SUCH A STUPID, RUDE THING? Just because she likes the volume loud doesn’t mean I, or others, do.

She also borrows money as well. Since I am trying to be a good friend, I lend money when she needs it for lunch. But she rarely pays back what I and our friends have lended her. And I remind her, or sometimes I just ask for her to buy me something that equals the amount she owed me. But then she insists that she doesn’t owe me anything and she doesn’t have enough money…but I usually see a $5 bill or $10 bill with her. That’s more than enough for BOTH of our lunches. Yes, I’ve stopped lending her money, even if I’ve extended to LYING that I don’t have money to lend. But you know, I’d rather just lie.

She doesn’t even need to borrow sometimes. For example, today she needed a quarter. I didn’t give one to her. My other friend, Megan, warned me Phuong would be trying to borrow money. She already got noodles and probably even a cookie. But she still wanted ANOTHER cookie.

OH, I’ve just remembered another thing I have a problem with. When she has a water bottle, or any drink for that matter, she just randomly squirts water at you, EVEN IF YOU HAVEN’T DONE A THING TO HER. It gets really annoying. And if you upset her more (it’s so stupid, she gets upset by just someone just saying “PLEASE STOP”) she’ll just keep squirting at you. She’s even dumped some of her water on some other people.

Those are the current things I can think of that just annoy me and others. If you were in my place, you’d see how annoying she is. You probably might be asking “Why are you being so hypocritical? If she annoys you, why don’t you just stop being her friend?” That sounds kind of elementary and although I am only in junior high, I don’t “stop being people’s friends”. I’m sorry, but I don’t know my answer. However, I soon hope she either stops, or god, I’m gonna explode and end up just letting this all out…even if she gets sad.
By the way, I’m not good at confronting people. She’s not as bad as she seems, I think, but there are those moments that would drive anyone crazy.
Oh yes, I bet there’ll be more blog rants about Phuong if she keeps up her personality and style.

LOL, random title.

I wanna take the early bus, but it comes at about 6:15AM. =/ Oh well, I’ll just try and get up early.

I’m working on a schedule to study for my finals. I think I’m just gonna read sections of the book each day. I’m behind on science, but at least the final consists of only 21 chapters, I THINK. Um, I don’t know about Spanish, but I’ve read about 8 units in the book so far. I’m working on history and I’m pretty on time with it.

I LOVE the new blog layout (the only word I can think of to describe it LOL). PINK is awesome.

I need to find some REAL topics to blog about, so my titles will actually fit, haha and to just let it all out.

OOH, and I got my recital dress and shoes! I LOVE THEM
