Hey jumping bean, I used to make those in primary school XD you can make them with straws too

connect 2 straws together (you can short of stick a bit of one into the other) and make the star the same way as you would with the paper :)

hello…
im addicted to making these stars. you can write a wish on each piece of paper before you fold it. a certain number of stars means a different thing if you give them to people. i’ve heard you can also string them together to make necklaces etc. you can use junk mail to fold stars too, just cut it into strips. you’ll need to work out how long to make the strips though. i found some really pretty papers in a local asian shop - a whole bunch for $1 a pack! i also brought heaps when in asia hahah.
