If you didn’t pay attention, there is a new event that requires higher level players like us to help newbies in exchange for items that are now worth a lot more (like newbie wands), people were offering newbies cool stuff and lots of money, the funny thing is that many of them didn’t understand that their items, worth only a lot for 2 days, won’t be worth much, but they still aren’t willing to give it up!

While the distribution of players wasn’t as even as during the opening day, it was very crowded in a particular area where players were lining up right around the harbour, notice the concentrated cluster of players overlapping each other right at the harbour!

So how do you build New York inside Hello Kitty Online?

So I made it, after braving the dangerous trip, I’m in London and am planting seeds on the farm.

It’s understandable that they are still working out on stuff, but the name of some of the seeds are still in chinese, also I’m too low level (I sort of wasn’t the right level, I basically avoided the bees and beatles as much as I could to sneak my way into London) and there I was.

Hopefully there is some serious profit to be made by selling farm produce! So far it’s been a LOT of fun and the people are the best inside HKO.

Damn it’s busy!! Each dot represents a person, there are so many they are overlapping each other!

That’s right, Hello Kitty Online will be out in 4 more days, well at least the founders beta will be out in 4 days….

The client will be available for download in 2 days!

So with all the hype that’s been going on the “hardcore” gamers, I’ve been going on my pink crusade but I’ve only been doing so on mmorpg.com which you can see here. It’s gotten quite a bit of attention! It all started with the pink power post!

It’s been a lot of fun acting like a kind of “pink terrorist” in these places, it’s like an angel invading hell or something like that!

But one thing I don’t like is how dismissive the hardcore gamers are about Hello Kitty Online, who have not even played the game.

The case in point is that in a community like mmorpg, the Hello Kitty Trailer was the hottest, most viewed trailer! The discussions were good with 86 comments on it and another flow of comments in the respective forums, but there were also those who were simply immature, as if there is nothing else to gaming than killing, PvP, PvE and who knows PvXXX and other Pv’s.

So I say, spread the word about the new and the different, HKO is at the forefront! It works, people do pay attention and I’m just looking forward to some new ideas that will come from it if the industry at large would finally take US as a market serious!

Btw, a totally separate off note but I found this poster of HKO on the web! This must be like vintage as I don’t recognize the design at all!
