Scala & Kolacny Brothers. Now that’s what I call a choir!
Wednesday, April 29th, 2009I watched a documentary on the BBC a little while ago called Eighteen Pregnant Schoolgirls. And it had one of the best soundtracks I had ever heard. A girl’s choir, haunting the backdrop with songs by Nirvana and Radiohead.
A little bit of research revealed the songs were available to buy and I was directed to the Scala & Kolacny Brothers site. I picked up a couple of albums and, well, I was just blown away by them. If you’re doing a mix for those long depressing nights when you can’t sleep and you feel desperately alone, these will fit in with your thoughts perfectly.
Check this on YouTube, Radiohead’s Exit Music (For A Film). Sounds better through headphones with the lights off.
