I was having some fun with ccomotti on pico today~
We have a totally sweet chill look here, man. You could say I’m a hippie…
Green hair is all the rage, representing saving our environment, go green or go home. With a t-shirt around my forehead, you know I’m ready for a hot summer day. Jeans and a white loose shirt, you know that’s me calm, cool, and collected away with the breeze. With a heart on my teddy bear for love, Make Love Not War dude. Aviator glasses to run in the sun, with a comfy pair of flats you can’t go wrong…Wear this hippie look and you’ll belong.
So, in my last post I talked about breast cancer awareness and how it has left its mark on my family.
It’s taken longer than I promised to update because well, it’s still hard for me to accept. I have the same genetic mutation as my mother, aunt, and great grandmother. This, in its simplest words, means that there is a 70% chance I will be diagnosed with stage 3 breast cancer.
I don’t think it’s really hit me yet…It still hasn’t hit me that my mom could have died. I mean…It’s just so unreal I can’t imagine it.
Today I had my photo shoot at ballet! :3
It was done by an amazing photographer, and I cannot wait to get the photos
Well, this week my life goes back to normal…Ballet starts….wanna hear my amazing schedule? Meh, comment if you do, too tired to write it if no one wants to know.
Grah I will forever and always hate Mondays, I admit that now. I hope that assisting tomorrow will be better then it sounds. I mean, the teacher I’m assisting with…..*sigh* it’s not that I *hate* her, I just dislike her ways.
Wish me luck T_T
Hello, Hello, Hello!
Instead of breakfast…today…we will be making…*drumroll*
Ready? Here we go.
Ingredients~
-2 cups chopped tomato (about 1 pound)
-1 cup of chopped fresh basil (I like to use less than this amount)
-1 tablespoon of Canola/Vegetable/Olive Oil
-1 1/2 pounds sea scallops
-2 cups of fresh corn (I think canned might work, de-cobbing the corn is difficult)
Prep- This took me a lonnng time. I started prepping around 5, finished around 5:45…Thought we’d be eating by then >_>
Step 1- Combine tomato, basil, 1/4 teaspoon kosher salt and dash of black pepper. Mix with your hands GENTLY.
Step 2- Heat up a large frying pan, add oil to the pan, swirling it to coat.
Step 3- Pat down the scallops and sprinkle with kosher salt and black pepper.
Step 4- Add scallops to pan, cook 2 minutes or until brown.
Once brown, flip the scallops over.
Step 5- After the scallops are fully browned, and look like this :
Take them out of the pan and keep warm.
Step 6- Coat the pan with a cooking spray. Add corn to the pan; saute for 2 minutes or until lightly browned.
Step 7- Add to the tomato mixture; toss gently
Step 8- Serve the salad with the scallops, plate, and enjoy!
Enjoy!! Until next time, gleek
Hi again =D
Now I will show you how to make…*drumrolllllllll* an…
Are you ready? Great!
Step 1, Okay, first we start out the same way we did with the French Toast by cracking two eggs in a bowl and mixing them like so:
Step 1 1/2, After this, make sure your stovetop is at High setting, this will help melt the cheese later on
Step 2, Pour the eggs into your now heated frying pan.
Step 3, let the eggs cook until you can see it is almost entirely cooked. At this point, you should have your shredded cheese ready.
*side note* When it comes to types of cheeses, I like the use the shredded mexican blend that my local supermarket sells, it works REALLY well
Step 4, Cheese time! Take a handful of cheese, and spread it down the middle of the pan. Wait for it to melt and for the egg to be fully cooked before the next step
Step 5, flip the omelet in half making a pocket for the cheeeeeese
After this you’re ready to plate and enjoy your dish!
Happy Nomming!

Today I will show you how to make French Toast, step by step!
Step 1, Crack 2 eggs in a medium bowl that you will be able to fit a piece of bread in
Step 2, after cracking them, mix the eggs with a fork until they look smooth, like this! ^^
Step 3, Dip the bread into the eggs! After the first side is completely covered, flip it and get the other side too.
Step 4, Put the piece of bread onto your frying pan. Make sure the stove is on a Medium-High Heat, high heat will help the toast cook faster!
Step 5, Once the first side can slide around on the pan when you tilt it, it’s safe to flip it! Simply take your spatula and flip the bread over. The cooked side should be exposed.
Step 6! Once your bread can slide on the pan when you tilt it, you can flip the bread onto the plate.
If you’re like me, you’ll want more then just one piece
So, just repeat the steps with your second piece of bread….
Step 7, Put the toast on your plate and top with a small sliver of butter, and LOTS of maple syrup!!!
Finished Product~
Hope you enjoyed cooking today!
Happy Noms, gleek
Hello Blog Readers! If..you’re there…
Anywhooo I decided to try making blondies brownies today, they are like a chocolate chip cookie in the shape of a brownie…but I made too much…and..it filled the pan too much..this is the end result..
That was around lunchtime, it fell apart as I ate it T__T. But after dinner..I tried something else with it.
What did I do? Simple. I put a piece in the microwave for 35 seconds, then I topped it with some vanilla/peanut butter ice cream…Yummy? YES. I made CalypsoCafe want some
That’s all for now! Hopefully I’ll be making french toast next…
What would YOU do for a Klondike bar?
As I was eating my Klondike Bar today, I thought..*enter flashback mode*
“Gee, what a great meme would that be…..”
Okay, that’s not how it went. I was randomly asking people on hko what they’d do for one. Rikki suggested I make it a Meme. Then, she thought, *another flashback*
“OH! And make them have 200 words or something…”
After that, she proceeded to try and explain it in 200 words, did that work…*starts flashback mode* Nono, no flashback. She failed at that. So it’s 100 words…..
What would you do for a Klondike Bar? In 86 words. Yeah, I know it just changed.
What would I do for a Klondike Bar? Well, I would walk all the so very long way from my bedroom to the hallway. Then, from that singular place, I would walk from there, to the kitchen. And don’t get me wrong, it’s a long way from my room to the kitchen. Like, Legit. It’s a long walk. Once I would be in the kitchen, I’d have to walk to the freezer, only to search for it, and then…FINALLY!! I have found my Klondike Bar. Yay.
Wonder why it’s 86 words? Check how long mine is.
