Hmm, I guess my entries will be centered around HKO lately… But here’s a combination of an HKO and XO post.

I was checking out the TentonHamster interview, and was surprised to see that XO has hopped into some of the future HKO concept sketches! It seems like he’s eagerly anticipating HKO to open with us. I’m so excited to explore London and Paris when HKO OB starts! I just hope it starts sometime in July because I think I’m going to be busy in August…

Sorry I’ve been gone for so long! Gah, I always take long hiatuses… I missed you girls! <3 I hope you all have been doing well.

I really love the new XO theme, Silver. It may be somewhat plain, but I think it’s about time he had a subtle design again away from his recent flashy ones, i.e. Hoops, Spy. The checkered pattern and monotone colors give off a sophisticated flair, but still utilize the cute factor through the occasional stars and bold logo. This new design is just right for me since I’m getting older and can’t always buy his bright and childish themes anymore. T_T

I drew this a long time ago, when I realized one day that XO looked like a tulip. He needs a more feminine theme, anyway. XD

I don’t know when, but the Official Sanrio site had a big update in layout and content. There’s a new art center where you can create scenes including Sanrio characters. Currently there are only three characters: Hello Kitty, Cinnamoroll, and Badtz-Maru. Each character has two scenes; XO has a school scene and a music scene:
