Birthday event on SEA
Nov 1 is Kitty’s birthday, and all the servers seem to be having big events. SEA’s started at 8PM SG/MY time. That is 7AM my time, so that was perfect for me.
For a day or so before the party, Kitty randomly appeared, getting everyone excited for the big event. Here she is at the Harbor while a few of us waited for the evenings events.
A bunch of us moved on to London to wait out the last few minutes before the event started. Kind of reminds me of the big events in Founders Beta. It’s just great to see such a big crowd, and so many familiar names.
Here is the street-level view. I had to turn off names, it helped with the lag.
They did a couple of mini-events just before the main event, hide and seek and something that I missed. I got a heart plushie from hide and seek. It’s the same kind that we got when we finished the Happy Hearts event questline.
Not too long and the main event began. It started with a series of secret messages that popped up as system messages, telling us where to go. When a certain percent of us got there, another secret message would appear, and after about four of those secret messages, we all got teleported inside the Pinata map, where a giant level 30 pinata awaited.
It took some time, and quite a bit of us whacking on that pinata, but it finally popped and everyone got a prize.
Some people got disconnected and weren’t able to get teleported into the Pinata room. The GMs tried to reset everything, but the pinata wouldn’t respawn :(
It was nice.
GMs Miyaw, Bacon, Galatea, Ben, Azrael and Mel were all there doing various things. I dearly missed Abby tho :( she did not make an appearance.
