NY Anime Fest
Went to the NY Anime Fest. Didn’t buy anything, and didn’t cosplay. But it was still fun. It was at the Javits Convention Center, which is right across the Hudson via the ferry. About an hour drive to the ferry, and 10 minutes across, so it’s not too bad. Worse thing about it is Route 3 traffic. The ferry is the last exit before the Lincoln Tunnel, so you might be stuck at the mercy of traffic.
Anyways, here are a few photos. Between me and my friend, we actually took quite a few, more than I could post here, so I posted about 60 of them on my Facebook profile. If you wanna see, just feel free to send a friend invite.
I think we have all some narcissistic tendencies, so here is me :P Standing on the dock waiting for the ferry to arrive. This is about 10:15 AM, and it’s probably 60-65 degrees at that point.
Inside the show, this was one of only a few vendors who had decent weaponry. No, I didn’t buy any. There was a point where I was kinda collecting replicas and stuff, but that’s one of those hobbies that can get real expensive, real fast, if you want to get real good quality stuff.
These two adorable girls were so happy when they saw my Hello Kitty shirt, it made me giggle like a schoolgirl.
And hopefully this isn’t TMI or offensive, but *shrug*. I’m attracted to Asian women, and when I saw this women, I just felt like if I died right now with that as the last thing I ever saw, yea that would be Ok. I’d easily forget my name. Yea, I know, unrealistic, and probably just as unobtainable as my current crushes, but what can you do? She is attractive as a women herself, much less the outfit.
