Oh no you didn’t
Oh yes I did… Reactivated my LoTRO account *shrug*
I’m still playing the ID and the SG versions of HKO. Since ID is live, I’ve been spending most of my time there. And hopefully once the SG version goes live, we’ll get some news on the US version? Hint hint? It’s fairly obvious that I like, and will continue, to play HKO. But, you know, variety and that stuff?
I’m sure the GMs don’t really care one way or another what games I play. Heck, they’re GMs, they’re probably gamers themselves, and I wouldn’t be surprised if some of them played any of the big-name commercial games. I know when I was a GM, I needed to play someone elses games. Kinda the need to “get away from work”. Or perhaps that’s just me projecting? If so, my apologies.
It’s odd that just after posting my musings about LoTRO that I received an email from Turbine, “come back for $9.95!”. Well, I looked into it, but that $10 is for new players, and I wanted to reactivate my old account, so “certain restrictions apply”. Of course they’re always having “come back” specials.
Anyways, here are some screenshots after the break, if you’re interested. I also put these screenies after the break, cause I run my video at 1600×1200, so they can be a little large.
My level 50 Man Champion.
Not a very flattering picture. I’m wearing my cosmetic outfit, the fishing gear. This is my current gear, although I prefer to walk around in my fishing outfit.
A level 50 Man Champion. Champs are the rough equivalent to a DPS warrior in WoW. High single-target DPS, middle-DPS AOE, and off-tanking abilities. There are other classes better suited to main tanking, but I like the mix of the champ.
The Mines of Moria expansion increased the level cap from 50 to 60. I had the max rest bonus, plus they changed the XP/leveling, so as soon as I whacked anything, I leveled to 51.
The first thing I needed to to was check on my house.
They lock you out if you fall behind on your rent, so I needed to take care of that. This is a “deluxe” house at 6 Chalk Road, one of the most scenic house sites.
And inside the house is still very sparse. I’m not a good virtual interior decorator. Standing in the den, looking across the main hall towards the bedroom.
Even though I’m really not into grouping, raiding, end-game, stuff like that, there is still plenty to do. Right now I’m just working on their summer festival, and doing some odd and outstanding deeds.

Yes, I’m actually logged in right now. I ran the auto-update a few hours earlier, and it went without any problem. I dunno why it wouldn’t finish, lag would be the only thing I can think of.
