April 20 lunch
Well, I guess I’ll continue making these kind of postings for now, until one of the following occurs:
- Either I get bored of it
- I get un-bored by something else. Maybe if HKO were to re-open? :P
- Someone begs me to stop
- I just run out of places to eat!
About a mile from my house is a nice Chinese buffet. I’ve gone there before, and will undoubtedly continue to go there. It also helps that they have a heart-stopping beautiful hostess. But since I’m unlucky when it comes to that kind of stuff, I can still admire her, right?
Anyways, enough self-deprecation (and I changed the original anyways, pfft). But for whatever reason, when I get take-out from here, I usually get the same thing. An egg-roll, three dumplings, noodles and some sort of “chicken on a stick”. All for $5. That’s a real bargain. If you were to eat at the buffet, they’d charge you $10, but that is all-you-can-eat. Take-out is charged by weight. It all depends on how hungry you are.
I don’t know what the dumpling sauce is called, but man-o-man is that stuff tasty. And I love to dip the eggroll in hot mustard sauce.

Lol @ some sort of “chicken on a stick.” I love chinese food and there’s one down the road from where I live that I always go to.

I love Chinese food as much as the next Chinese/Vietnamese American who eats Chinese all the time…Which is, not much…My parents used to own a Chinese resturant, you know. Two actually (not at the same time). We were ranked the No. 2 Asian restaurant in Tulsa :D. But, we don’t own a restaurant anymore (thank God), but my parents still cook Chinese food TOO much.
