Seems I have developed a penchant for posting my lunch here. Dunno why? Maybe it’s because I am deluded into thinking there are people who might be interested?

So today was a taylor ham sandwich. Basically what I consider pretty typical NJ food. You can get this stuff anywhere. Any deli worth its weight should be able to crank you one out, even places like 7-11 or Cumberland Farms sell them.

This is “Taylor ham”, but apparently, according to the Wikipedia article, it’s really “pork roll”. Most often served with a fried egg (done well) and cheese. But there are no eggs in the house, and I wasn’t in the mood for cheese. Lots of people use ketchup, but I just prefer salt and pepper.

Oh and if you look at that Wikipedia article, I’m using the same brand of food as is pictured! No, I didn’t upload that photo, either.
