Another boxpig
I made another boxpig
This is a wooden cube that is about 3.5″ square. I scalloped out the bottom with a dremel, to get that frilly pattern. Painted the body (and ears) with spray paint, and used “paint markers” to do the face. I did not paint the feet, I think I might leave it that way. I’m not sure.
And from an angle:
I’m not sure if I am happy how the ears came out. I basically took a craft stick, broke it in half, and epoxied them at an angle. Originally I did try to bend the wood by soaking in in water until it was very soggy and flexible, but you can’t really bend it at a 90 degree angle without some stress fracture.
I didn’t make the wooden cube, it’s a “photograph cube” from a crafts store.

Thank you for the kind words. There is another critter I’d like to do, but it has to be either in fabric (which I have no skill at), or a specific type of food. I’m hesitant to mention it, cause it’ll take the surprise out of it.
