I forgot to add this in from the weekend.  I was fixing dinner on Sunday.  I look through the kitchen window and what should be back? Yup- the neighbors cows.  A lone calf this time.

We had worked out which neighbor it is that lost him… it’s the guy who’s property is out back from us.   So the cows are getting through the barbed wire fence, cutting through the woods and wandering in to our yard.  This is the Google Maps overview of our property.  Note the scale compared to the white square that’s my house.

So they are walking all of that way, just to get to our obviously tastier grass.

EDIT: (1:45 Central time zone) What the heck?  The cow is back again.  I think we need to check our fence again o_O;;

Meh.  I was hoping to play with more hybrid seeds, but once again the feature has been temporarily stopped.

Until they return, the next event, or I can think of something else to talk about, here’s some pics of Jansen’s house (which I never posted).

The Old Windmill

What’s really cute about it is that the blades of the windmill are animated so that they slowly spin.

It’s a real bachelor’s pad though, with hardly any furniture.  Hopefully I can get some more when the next event rolls around.  Here’s the two rooms (a living room and a bed room).

I took these early this morning, but haven’t got a chance to post them until now.  The scores should be relatively the same since, especially since the MegaPig and other party pets weren’t around any more.

Who won each day (individual players):

and the overall scores for individual players.  As you can see, Bless apparently never sleeps. XD

And on the guild side, here’s which guild won on a day to day basis

and, lastly,  the final total of the points for the guilds.

Last night was the finale of the HKO birthday events.  I stayed through the main part of the party and took a few quick screen shots.

As with the previous party, people were led to the SnowyLands to go cheer the MegaPig through 5 full cycles.  But, since it was the transfer between maps that made me disconnect and miss everything last time, I stayed in London (no matter how many times the GM hinted otherwise).  When finished there, we got a cut scene of the sad, sad pigs.  This cued the formation of special, named MegaPigs:

Hitting all 5 caused a cut scene of the happy, happy pigs.  And that was it.

The GM’s wrangled us in to a group photo.  Here’s the one I took:

There were GM games being arranged, but I decided to log off and hand the computer back to my hubby instead.

Finally, here’s the true heroine of this whole event

Mimmy.  That’s right-  Mimmy.  It’s her birthday too, but she goes ahead and lets her sister take all of the credit. C’mon Kitty! How about a little thank you for the sister that helped wake your fluffy tail up?

Coming from a discussion last night of someone who couldn’t remember the site’s name:

NationStates (click “create a nation” to get started).

As well, here’s my two nations-

The nice but heavily taxed Tacenda (hey, those free services cost money).

The nice because Theadora says so Orthopraxos.

For comparison to my ruling style- Anaxphonia.

I forgot to put this up earlier.  As indicated by my short comment on the autobuilder, I got a pair of new houses: the Wizard Tower for my main account and The Old Windmill for my alt.  Here’s some pictures of the tower.

Outside:

Room 1- living room

Room 2- kitchen to be? (I’d really like to make this some sort of kitchen/dining room, but there’s no appliances in the IM.  So right now, it’s not much of anything).

Room 3- bedroom

Almost all of my furniture is  the stuff you can make in-game, so it’s a little boring.  Hopefully when Tokyo opens there will be new furniture to make.

So, going back to the random gray kitty that showed up on our doorstep, my hubby has picked out a name for him.  To explain, we had originally a pure black cat named Sabotage.  When someone randomly handed us a tabby cat kitten, we turned it to a theme and named him Subversion.  Thus the new kitty’s name is… Slander. Mainly because he showed up flinging junk around but also because he was named on election night.

I would take a picture of him, but he’s still covered in snot and eye goop (ew). The poor thing, we think he might have some sort of seasonal allergies or something.

To live up to my blog’s title, I just thought I would share a totally out of the blue and useless comment.

I just realized this morning that the milk in the ‘fridge was dated… Oct. 24th.  Yup, that’s 2 weeks ago yesterday.  I wondered why it looked a little strange when I poured it in to my coffee last night.

Since I finally have some coins for the IM, I poked around some last night.  There has been a huge increase in LP cost for the (free) farms.  A level 4 farm has gone from costing 500LP up to 1250LP and a level 8 is up from 1000LP to 3500LP.

It doesn’t help to give more chances for people to gain LP if you hike the prices on something that people need to play the game.  And I don’t care about the fact that people can pay coins for the farms. Yes SD is a business and yes they need to make money.  But they can make plenty of money just fine without holding your game progress hostage until you either pay or gather a large sum of LP.

I wish I had known that I had to use the item before I started the house building process (it’s supposed to be used while gathering).

At least I found out before I started building Taci’s 3 room house.
