And that’s just for female avatars!  I’ve been spending my day testing the female hairstyles.  It’s hard work but I’m telling you, it’s also a lot of FUN!  These new hairstyles are hot!  Maybe I should make my GM character a female one when the game comes back live.

Sorry about that, all should hopefully be well this time around.  Now that I think I got that sorted out, we can go back to talking about Hello Kitty Online!

I’m still here at the Sanrio Digital main office and it’s been a really hectic past few weeks.  Our deadlines are looming and we have a whole bunch of stuff in are list that needs to be added to or fixed in the game.

We’ve implemented the core storyline of the game, so all of the quests are new.   There is now a ton of quests (one of the maps has over 70 quests for example!) and the quest system itself has been revamped, giving you a lot more activities to do apart from the old quest objectives.

New maps and NPCs have been added to accommodate these new quests.  Some of these maps are huge!  You can bet that you’ll be going through a wild adventure through Sanrio Land when Hello Kitty Online comes back.

Looking at the game now (and I’m literally looking at it BTW), I really think you’ll all be having a lot more fun when the game comes back online.  We’ve got several new un-announced game features, but I won’t spoil that yet.  I’ll let the Hello Kitty Online Official Blog publish those first.  In the meantime, stay tuned! There are a lot more to come!

Time to break the silence… These past few weeks, we have been busy working on Hello Kitty Online’s latest event, “Happy Hearts”.  I’m happy to say that the game client and patch for the event is almost complete, and it should be ready for download real soon.

This event will really be exciting for us!  This marks a few firsts for HKO, and we are really looking forward to showing you all the changes and improvements we’ve worked on this past month.  We’re suiting up and getting ready to go…. See you all in a week!

I know its late, but I’d like to greet everyone a very happy new year!

This year is really exciting for all of us at the Hello Kitty Online Team.  The office is bustling with activity right now, and all of us are really busy implementing and testing even more enhancements for the game.  Everything is going on a frantic pace right now because OPEN BETA IS COMING SOON!

Stay tuned, we will be releasing sneak peeks on what’s new in the coming weeks.

A snowman.

Yes I love the new costumes!  However, I’m now afraid to leave New York.  The Harbour seems err… rather warm.  Will I melt?

Here are some of the things that happened to me in the HKO test server today:

1. Got lost in that massive new city.
2. My pet told me it was hungry.
3. Got myself a snowman to keep me company.
4. Watched Neverender’s farm get hit with a biblical plague… and laughed at his desperate plea for help.
