Last week my graphics card died, and with no shop around that still sells AGP cards, I had to order one.. and wait ;o;.

All of this could’ve been avoided, though. The random reboots, card not starting, random rendering lag and bugs as well as the howling fan were a dead giveaway. Well, that’s what I get for procrastinating.

Here’s a photo of it on its last days.

Yep, that’s a needle stuck in an (unused!) earplug, mounted on a plastic chip, resting on my never used TV card, keeping the fan from jittering around.

With computer rooms at the university being either occupied, full of loud idiots or simply without the proper software, I was more or less forced to take a timeout. Now I’m even further behind with my thesis schedule, leaving my days even more, er, filled with actionscripting and general flashing!

Speaking of flashing..

Eargh! One of the worst bugs in FB! I applied some basic censoring to protect innocent relatives and your eyes.

The flasher is attempting to flee after satisfying his dirty fetish, but not before I managed to get a mugshot. Meanwhile, the green-clad pimp remains unfazed. Might there be a CONNECTION?!

(I wisely cut out the chat window. When o-chan’s the topic, things get ugly fast.)

Wrestling around with actionscript and php all day leaves little time & motivation to trudge through boring file lists, so I’ll post some FB screenies instead. Hooray! 

My first ingame screenshot, thanks to ripplecloud telling me that it’s f11 instead of printscreen. Duh. I think this is on the second day. When the server finally opened up it was like past 5 in the morning for me, so I just secured my nickname and went to bed. Look who sneaked into the screenie o_o.

For quite a while pink hair was buggy, resulting in bald people! They fixed it afterwards, but it’s kinda sad to see the hairless disappear completely.

Ah, London. Londan. Landon. It’s like they did this intentionally!

This again was before they polished/retranslated the London area script. Luckily they fixed most of the stuff a few days after. Or sadly, the gibberish was semi-entertaining.

By the way, does anyone else think these shop guys look like pimps? See:

These six complete the boss roster (for now). Hrm. Palette swaps were semi-expected for the normal monsters, but to cheap out on the bosses as well is a tad disappointing.

If you use the GIFs for something, credit would be nice, because making them was pretty annoying. Maybe I’ll find a less ham-fisted method for getting them later, though.
