Hello to all you fellow HKO players.
hm did they change the blog system to wordpress or was it always wordpress but I just didn’t realize it? anyhoe… don’t expect to much of this blog of mine.
It’s not that I don’t like to share my thoughts to the world it’s more that I like instant feedback. Thus I mostly restrict my ramblings to IRC or IM types of systems.
Currently I’m writing this from my work office where I have a few moments to kill time while I’m waiting for the server to install stoof. While I rather like warm weather I do hate it when my office gets above 25C. When it gets above that temp it almost seems like most logical thinking has a bad lag, kinda like those old days playing doom via a dial-up modem.
Luckily when the server is done and I change a few configs, I can go back to my own cool house to work from there. Sometimes working in IT does have it’s advantages to some of my co-workers who have to scan lots of files all day.
Oh right, this is an HKO blog… almost forgot. eh.. hm.. I enjoyed the GM race event last week.Seeing all those users on the same map kinda reminds me of the closed beta times. Somehow it still boggles the mind that when it was closed there were seemingly more people interested in playing HKO then now while everyone and their uncle can sign-up for free without having to wait to be accepted.
But then we did see the Dev’s ingame back then, they actually talked to the users and we had a feeling that they really cared… not so anymore.
Ah the server is almost done and I’m getting dizzy when looking at the wall of text that I’ve just writen above. Thus I wish you goodbye for now and hopefully see you ingame at some point.
