Cabbage soup Diet

  • 1 package dry onion soup mix
  • 2 cans of tomatoes, diced or whole
  • 2 bouillon cubes, either chicken or beef
  • 1/2 head green cabbage, chopped
  • 2 carrots, chopped
  • 1 small celery stick
  • 5 large green onions or 1 large regular onion, chopped
  • 2 bell peppers, sliced (optional)
  • Seasonings (Any you choose)

SautĂ© the vegetables (except for tomatoes and cabbage) in a pot using fat-free cooking spray. Add cabbage, soup mix, seasonings, bouillon cubes, and water. The amount of water you add depends upon how “soupy” you want your recipe to be. Finally, add the tomatoes. Cook the soup according to your preferences. Some people like their cabbage to be crunchy, while others prefer a tender texture
