I was supposed to meet with Niqui today be in a meeting today at 2pm but it was canceled at the last minute cause I suddenly had to meet with Jayvee (together with HIVE). But then, that had to be canceled as well cause Jayvee had to do something else.

But when I got up today, got a text again saying that he’s free at 4. But by then, the managing editor and EIC is not available And I’m not actually knowledgeable enough by myself to meet alone. So I ended up bumming around today.

Well, not really.

I read a hundred or so pages of Breaking Dawn to unwind after breakfast. And then when I finally got the energy to get my ass off the bed, I went and jogged (in place) for exercise and waited until it registered 2km on my Nike Sportsband. Bad idea esp since I “ran” 3km yesterday — I can barely walk today. Painful OUCHOUCH.

So here I am working while resting (from pigging out, btw)

So I was wondering what I should start updating you guys with. And so I look at the pictures I have in my album and then realized that since they’re soooo far back, they’re not really interesting anymore! D:

But then I saw the pictures of Sept 21st and realized that I haven’t been updating you guys a lot… AT ALL.

So anyway, Sept 21 was when I hosted something for THE VERY FIRST TIME. EVER. Twas the 2nd Philippine Blogs! ;D So anyway, Marcelle first asked me about hosting with him during the Buhay Coke 2 Bloggers Party last August. I was supposed to host that with him but since he saw me among the crowd minutes too late, he just asked me if I wanted to host PBA with him.

Why I said yes: because I’ve never hosted before and I wanted to try it. Plain and simple.

My blogger friends were REALLY supportive. Jeff even texted me some tips like how I should stay away from inside jokes and Arbet was there during the event itself! Familiar faces = LOVE.

So you can just imagine my frayed nerves — I was hosting with people high up there in the blogging world. LOLs.

Well, so the long and short of it: I don’t think I humiliated myself that much!

And OMyYAY! I only have one paper left for school. Wanna know what my sched for the past week was?

Tuesday: Last exam for Bio 1 and Chem 1
Wednesday: Last (and only) exam for STS (Science, Technology, and Society)
Thursday: DEADLINE OF THE PSYCH 118 PAPER (field methods). OURS WAS 352 PAGES LONG. My groupmate was UBER panicking cause we made it just in the nick of time. I WAS APPENDING STUFF FROM 3:30 AM (I slept beforehand cause one of my other groupmates was editing the paper. I woke up when he called me up to send the paper) UNTIL 3PM-ish. That was AN ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE. THIS IS THE REASON WHY WE’RE NOT REQUIRED TO HAVE A THESIS FOR OUR COURSE BECAUSE ALL OUR METHOD COURSES HAVE THESIS-LIKE PAPERS! (Last sem, we had experimental methods blah)
Friday: Last exam for Psych 150 (which I didn’t really study for cause I was too tired and sleepy and ended up falling asleep)

And today’s the Saturday after ALL THAT HELL.

And that’s the reason why I was gone so long.

It’s 3 in the morning and I’m just about editing and adding related literature to our research proposal draft.

I find it ridiculous that:
1. It’s only a research proposal
2. It’s only a draft

Drat it.

And I still have a final take home exam due in a few hours. I haven’t even started with that one!
