That worries me because alot people unfortuantly speak that way, and some one tell her ‘yes, saying ‘like’ after every work will cause people to not take you seriously, start praticing how to not say it so often’.
Like, totally.:P I’m kinda guilty of this (urgh) but the origin of it is different: I was teasing my guy friend who used to say “like” for every other word he mentions, and for some reason, it stuck to me.x_x Talk about karma.

He talks like this: “Um, like, when I was, like, a kid, my mom, like, made me eat a sandwich, and, like, I didn’t really like it, because, like, it was cheese, and, like, I don’t really like cheese.” I’d go and imitate him (complete with the accent!), and unfortunately, it stuck.x_x
Unfortunately.x_x He’s a guy as guys could be, but yeah, he talks really, really differently. Come to think of it, he’s definitely not your typical person. Hahahaha! One of the weirdest people I’ve ever met, but I wouldn’t tell him that to his face.:p

He went to my birthday party a few years back, and the first thing he told me when he arrived wasn’t “Hi” or “Hello”, but “I texted you, you didn’t reply”, complete with the accent and accusatory tone. I was like, “Hello to you too.”x_x Turns out he had the number of my old phone that got stolen.x_x
