Happy Valentines Day

Yes! It’s 1:12 in the morning and I have finished editing our paper’s introduction, conversing with some Japanese folks in English (at a price), and doing work stuff! Wahoo. And still, here I am. What am I doing?

I’m thinking: There’s nothing to look forward to and yet I feel giddy! Or maybe that’s the effect of the sugar from that soda I just drank. Hmm! There’s a certain expectation in the air. That hey, for the next 23 hours, you don’t know what will happen. Will someone be nice enough to hand you a bouquet of roses? Sing to you? Dance to you? Play a song for you?

Aha!

You’re getting giddy now too, huh?

I especially appreciated the fact that Heart Pi greeted me first! And the fact that David specifically said, “Happy Valentines Day, Tiff!” (I hate mass sends :/ He knew that. Hah.)  Or it may even be because of Merri’s message! Haha. It may be a lot of things. So I hope you have the same things to be happy for ♥

Happy ♥’s day, guys!

Cause there’s this org, the UP Music Underground who will serenade someone in UP for a price. Eh I loved their “performance” when they sang for a classmate in Physics. Super lovely voice, this girl had!

Valentines day is celebrated very significantly here although it is not a public holiday. Couples go out for dinners, and hence most restaurants are fully booked and many restaurant even doll up their place, and fix their dinner prices higher than usual. Many of those who do not have partner also celebrate this day, by going out for dinner together. Gift shops, especially flower shops earn a lot from this day too.

Hey, I love Japanese culture too! I want to live in Japan for a few months some time from now. HEHE.
