Showing off my Hello Kitty

Friday, February 29th, 2008

I hated today. Today is a bad day (apparently). First was that horrid surprise quiz that I didn’t study for.

Well actually I was lying. It wasn’t entirely a horrible day. Well, I thought it was. Sir B even announced that the written recitation thing for Physics would be individual. And I didn’t know shit. Turns out he was lying. Trying to pull our legs. Called him a liar after the recitation. We love that prof.

Then came English wherein people at the back row (me included) were basically labeled as slackers (according to some article). Lol. We were out to prove it wrong.

Okay. Here’s the best part. I was able to go jogging. Thank gawd for P who went jogging with me. A and R forgot to bring proper stuff like rubber shoes :/ And my sister forgot to bring jogging pants. So much for jogging.

Have I mentioned I ♥ Gary V? He’s the best performer there is. Trust me. Saw him perform tonight and loved every second of it.

Yesterday, after lunch at Amici with UP CSA people, D asked people around if anyone wanted to come with us to check out Fresh, this toy store that sold some of the more expensive toys. And behold what we saw:

The saleslady was actually pretty cool about answering our questions and allowing us to take pictures. It’s a really nice store and most of us plan to go back.

Did I mention I ♥ gay? :P

Yesterday, I went out with my CAT buddies. So I hitched a ride with Chamie to Ateneo to wait it out with them. While waiting, I did my English 1 paper and watched Kaira’s Histo play.

And guess who I saw at the Ateneo? Ali and Abby (with her brother whose name wasn’t mentioned, was it?)! :D Coooooool! (Bong’s envious)

We watched Vantage Point at Trinoma. It was… funny (yes, I have a weird sense of humor)

Believe me, I wanted to watch a chick flick cause I didn’t want anything “heavy.”

I wish everyday can be as peaceful and wonderful.
Summer vacation, where art though?

Okay. The thing is, Hello Kitty Online (the MMORPG game) started accepting applicants for their closed beta testing last February 13. I submitted my email address on February 14.

In the span of a little more than a week, they got 50,000 sign-ups! Oh hell no! :(

So I have a 1/50,000 chance of getting in. ARGH.

Something has been bothering me lately: Where is all my money going. I mean. Spending a little here and there… it really stacks up, you know? Damn. And it doesn’t help that it’s so hard to give a crap about anything lately. It sucks up the energy from me.

Last Tuesday was the Mr. and Ms. Psych interbatch thing (I dare not call it a competition) and I would like to say that… Chax and Niño were so pretty that night :D Voting for them is worth it.

It’s guess their characters time! :)

Trying to be insightful

I don’t have anything against religion or Catholicism for that matter. But I do have something against being overly so. Eep. Actually, this made me realize that I haven’t attended mass for over a year now. :/ Hmm…

Mondays are helldays

Friends and I have been stressing about school lately. Darlene, a Physics classmate, even expressed her wish of just lying down anywhere and just forgetting everything. Hahaha.

Me? I’ve been trying to balance school, work, and fun.

Fun mostly included going to the UP fair! Boo ya! I finally heard Pedicab live. I love Pedicab. And I loved how Sandwich made the crowd so lively but I’m not really a fan of theirs. I also loved Radioactive Sago. Hee.

There were booths in the fair and I loved it all. I loved checking out the shirt designs. I also checked out Artwork shirts. And I was trying to decide between: “I only date musicians,” “I only date geeks,” and “I envy the willpower of anorexics.” And I was wary about purchasing anything cause I’ve spent too much this week. And Patrick, out of nowhere, tells me, “I’ll pay the 120 bucks,” and Bong offers to pay for the other half ♥ I love unexpected surprises. Makes it more worth the experience!

So… Which shirt did I choose? :P

Personally, I came across this shirt online and loved it as well:

I know right? :3

Happy Valentines Day

Wednesday, February 13th, 2008

Yes! It’s 1:12 in the morning and I have finished editing our paper’s introduction, conversing with some Japanese folks in English (at a price), and doing work stuff! Wahoo. And still, here I am. What am I doing?

I’m thinking: There’s nothing to look forward to and yet I feel giddy! Or maybe that’s the effect of the sugar from that soda I just drank. Hmm! There’s a certain expectation in the air. That hey, for the next 23 hours, you don’t know what will happen. Will someone be nice enough to hand you a bouquet of roses? Sing to you? Dance to you? Play a song for you?

You’re getting giddy now too, huh?

I especially appreciated the fact that Heart Pi greeted me first! And the fact that David specifically said, “Happy Valentines Day, Tiff!” (I hate mass sends :/ He knew that. Hah.)  Or it may even be because of Merri’s message! Haha. It may be a lot of things. So I hope you have the same things to be happy for ♥

Happy ♥’s day, guys!

I’m fat and ugly

Saturday, February 9th, 2008

Yesterday, my friend’s band, Dalandan Soda, joined YFC’s battle of the bands. Since Don, my neighbor is also planning to stay in school late, we decided to watch it.

I’m fugly. I’m never going to wear a skirt to school ever again. Ever.

Fugly = fat and ugly. :(

Wanna be in love for real

Monday, February 4th, 2008

I just felt like I have to give recognition where it’s due. Really really due.

I love my parents. I really really think I have the awesome-est parents ever.

Just last week, I was cramming for Physics and was planning on staying up really really late. At around 1 in the morning, I texted my mom to wake me up when she gets home. She was having her weekly girls’ night out and I didn’t expect her home until around 3 in the morning. She tells me, “Okay! Good luck. Study hard and rest when you’re tired. I’ll wake you up when I get home. Love you.”

I know, right? ♥

And then my dad kept peeking in and asking me whether I wanted to eat this or that (there’s the reason why I’m so plump and healthy) — he even cooked noodles for me and brought me water.

So after that, I was a bit hesitant about asking him to drive me to school at 5 in the morning since he was still up at that late an hour. I needed to ask Annabellee stuff about Physics and wanted to be at UP at 6 in the morning, an hour before the exam. He just said, “Okay! Wake me up when we have to leave.”

But then as luck would have it, at 5:30 in the morning, the neighbor’s car was blocking ours. O_O There was no way of waking up that evil neighbor. So I told my dad I’d commute to school by myself and he insisted on accompanying me and even gave me extra moolah. ♥

I’m so in love with my parents.

Oh by the way, I uninstalled DotA from the compy.

PS. Bong made me the Happy New Year banner :3 AYLAVIT!
PPS. I’m serious about sending me that valentine My Valentinr - raein
