Sore Eyes

IMGP3250 I’ve got sore eyes! At first I thought that I just got it from sleeping with my contacts on. :(

And now I can’t wear my contacts for a week. I’m going to be using my glasses. One good thing would be the fact that the glasses hides the swelling. Thank goodness for that. But if you click the picture, you see the redness in the eyes. :(

So kids, remember that sore eyes are on the roll nowadays. Don’t rub your eyes especially if you’re not sure about the cleanliness of the surfaces that you touch.

Always wash your hands (mine is becoming quite dry since I keep on washing my hands. I’m afraid I’m going to contaminate the stuff around me).

I’ve already infected my sister x_x

    Just don’t touch your eyes :( If you’ve touched anything I’ve touched after touching my eyes. Wash your hands! :(

    I wear contact lens over 10years. I changed to use 1 day contact lens now. I think that it’s healthy for the eyes. And remember to wash the hands is also the most important thing to do.^^

    Oh I can’t use contact lens anymore… they’ve hurt my eyes….
    Remember to put cotton with iced water on the eyes! I had sore eyes a few weeks ago, and that’s what solve the problem!

    Wearing contacts for prolonged periods of time can hurt your eyes. It causes abrasions on your cornea (the one that’s covering the black part / iris of your eyes) and this can be a lovely site for infection to occur.

    Contact lens is just one of the causes of eye infection so, just as you have said in your post, proper hand washing is best and also proper cleaning of your contacts is ideal.
