Goodbye cast, I will not miss you.

Sunday, April 15th, 2007

arm after removal of cast Thank goodness that the cast has been removed. I never really do well with restrictions of any kind. Now when the cast is first removed, you can’t really straighten your arm yet. I had the cast on for 3 weeks, my arm at a 90 degree angle. I’ve chatted with Tim on how long he had to have therapy before he was able to straighten his arm. According to him, it’ll be around 2 weeks. I wonder if mine will last that long?

Jia You! I can do this!

Snacking

Friday, April 13th, 2007

This (my point and click talent at work) would be what I’m snacking — yeah, snacking – on right now. My dear lovely and very beautifully gorgeous mother loved me so much that she called me up on her way home to ask me if I wanted anything. You may not see me smiling but I’m smiling deep inside. Haha.

I won’t be able to update my blog for the meantime due to a report (quite excited about it actually) I have to write about the iBlog3. I think I got my boss excited especially when I messaged her the moment I got home about all the people I saw and met. And I think Thysz (a co-volunteer I met today) infected me with his starstruck-ness.

Elections

Wednesday, April 11th, 2007

Philippine FlagTo tell you honestly, I’ve never really taken any interest in Philippine politics (like the way Superbong’s interested in it). But one can’t help but notice the influx of cars bearing banners and playing campaign jiggles (which aren’t so nice to listen to especially when you’re commuting in the morning and you desperately want to drink coffee).

I actually didn’t act like the responsible Filipino citizen–I didn’t register to vote. Believe me when I say, I’m not proud of it. I didn’t know that it was time for registering for the elections even with the posters advertising it (I didn’t think it was a poster regarding Philippine elections).

*Shuts up further excuses*

Now, I even stumble upon blogs on the Philippine elections (Gah @_@)

Update Update

Monday, April 9th, 2007

I just updated the links *look to your right*

It is a tedious task, especially if your internet is unusually slow today. I wonder what happened?

Well, on to the post…

Legolas

Spent the night yesterday watching LOTR for the second time around last night. Only got around to watching the first two movies–it was already 2:30 when the Two Towers ended xD I plan on finishing the third movie later. Legolas is sooo pretty :3 He awakens the fan girl in me. Lol.

And…

This would be me and my sister.

Surprised I posted a picture?

And take note of the strap of my arm sling. I wish I was creating a fashion statement. As luck would have it, it just looks plain horrible.

This was taken this afternoon at the Mall of Asia where me and my relatives went to after visiting my grandparents’ grave.

My sister and my other cousins went ice skating while I was left with the adults because of my “handicap.”

Penguins

Penguin

Interestingly enough, my friend sent me this picture around months ago because he knew that I liked penguins. And I’ve been contemplating–that’s a real penguin, right? :3 It’s just so adorable!

He reminds me of Lovelace! xD And I ended up searching for the Happy Feet website, which brought me to the Warner Brothers site for Happy Feet–they even have a flash site ;)

As a farewell, this cute gif will be sure to make you laugh. I found this in a friend’s blog…

Oh, by the way, please click on the pinoy blogs link once in a while so I get good stats for this site :) Thank you.

Let’s advertise the sanriotown blogs more ;D

Back from Vacation

Saturday, April 7th, 2007

I’m so glad to be home. Haha! Well, not because the trip wasn’t fun or anything like that. It was more like–I miss being online.

Yes, I miss work, posting in my blog and even chatting.

05 April

Woke up around 7:30 or 8. That day, I slept at 4 because I was waiting for my mom to get home (She had one of those girls’ night out thing with her bestfriends. Though they’re not really ‘out,’ more like hanging out at each other’s houses.) Was too sleepy to even travel. I was asleep up until my mom woke me up to take a bath, fell asleep again, woke up once again when mom was feeding me (Yes, I was half asleep while eating breakfast!) and then got up to fix the things I would bring to Cavite.

Brought ‘The Vampire Armand’ by Anne Rice for the trip, all the while hoping I’d get to finish the book in three days.

There were 10 of us on the trip. 5 adults and 5 of us ‘kids,’ 3 of whom are my cousins.

Basically, all we did all day are play board games, PS2, talk, eat and sleep.

I learned how to play NBA Live ;D XD
I suck at it, though!

Slept at 4 a.m. after a long game of Monopoly (Achi Sarah won) and an even longer ‘chat session.’

06 April

Basically did the same.
Though I slept at 2 (I was sleepy O_O) and they stayed up until 5 @_@

Haha. And in the end, I didn’t get to read my book.

Funny thing, though. I didn’t have to wash any dishes or help around the house cause of my “handicap.”

Oooh… Comes in handy sometimes!

A Family of Bloggers

Wednesday, April 4th, 2007

Since I previously blogged about my friend who celebrated her birthday last time, let me blog about another friend who’s celebrating his birthday today!

Introducing to you my friend.

Another reason of blogging about him would be his very interesting family of bloggers.

Being third of seven children, one can very well say that they have a big family (brings to mind the movie “Cheaper by the Dozen”).

The second Racoma blog which I stumbled upon when BA wanted me to read about his sister’s appendectomy and, being the good friend that I am, went to see what it was about.

Well, for one, I saw his sister’s appendix. And another, I started becoming a visitor to his mother’s blog.

Third blog I was able to read would be his older brother’s.

And even his ten-year-old brother has a blog! Amazing!
Read more about my friend at his mom’s blog.

Happy Birthday, BA!

Hello Kitty Toaster

Sunday, April 1st, 2007

Having stumbled upon this page, I found out that there’s a Hello Kitty toaster!

It’s not only a decoration for the kitchen, it’s also a toaster!

And, get this–it “draws” a hello kitty on the bread!
Be careful not the over-toast the bread, though!

Darth Vader

Sunday, April 1st, 2007

I was looking for sanriotown links to digg in digg, when I stumbled upon this. x_x

Consider it this way: I’ve died and went to heaven cause of too much laughter. HAHAHA! I can’t believe someone did that!

I immediately shared it to Superbong! XD
Time to share it to others~

XO Cave Adventure

Sunday, April 1st, 2007

Erin’s right. XO Cave Adventure is hard. And I only got until 10744 points there.

Better luck next time for me.
It is addicting, though. :D

There’s this other game that my sister’s been playing.
Scribble. You need to help the inkblots reach the flags at the end. There are a lot of levels–my sister’s done with it, I think? Not sure. I’m only at level 11 cause I only get to play when I’m not working. Lol.
