I chanced upon a multiply site of my friend’s professor (I’m not going to link her first, maybe she doesn’t want to be linked) who happens to have a lot of hello kitty stuff!

Rukia: yamaguchi, teh creator (or director of hello kitty’s designs for the past so so… 20 years?) said

Raein: I WAS JUST COMMENTING IN HER MULTIPLY WHETHER OR NOT SHE HAS A TOASTER AND THEN I SEE IT!!!

1. To be a Hello Kitty fan, you must be absolutely devoted! ABSOLUTELY.

2. HELLO KITTY has a mouth.

    If you watched Hello Kitty on RPN9 before like me, you would know that she does have a mouth and she uses it to talk and eat! :D But for anything else, it is preferred to show her without a mouth because she doesn’t need a mouth to express her feelings! :)

    HaHaHa she is such a flexi cat! Her mouth only appears when she needs it. Actually I kinda suspect that she was created without the mouth for simplicity sake but then when the need for a mouth arose, a mouth was thrown in.
