Guildies and pets and houses Oh my!

Ooooh my update is long overdue but here it is…

The final week of the founders Beta was great!

Just as I was lamenting being guildless and not able to take part in the Food for Friends event (raising money for unicef and the asian youth orchestra), along comes Caidiva, a member of the Charmmy Kitties guild who kindly extended an invitation to the guild for me. Lucky for me, this was just the kind of guild I was looking for.. not too big, not too small and full of super spiffy people.

During the last week of the founders beta I managed to complete all the London quests (including the horrendous Burry’s Ball *shudder*) and the Monster Wrangler event leading me to collect my second pet, a cute pink Trex that I named Chompers. Also while contributing to the Food for Friends event, I was given a Grand Central Station deed.. I decided that because there were no more quests for me to do that I would spend a day or two collecting all the materials needed to build the grand central house on my farm.

In the end it took me one day to gather everything and two days to build!

During day 1 it was just me and my friend Mooselee building together…

After alot of hammering we finished the day around 4500/6000

Day 2 we completed another 500 points worth of building before I was happily suprised to have some of the rest of the Charmmy Kitties come to my farm to help me finish Honeydust’s home.

…. and here it is finished!

Once Honeydust’s home was complete we headed over to Collin’s farm to lend a hand with the building.. just before we finished everyone stopped long enough for a screenie to mark the occasion.

A big big thank you to all my fellow Charmmy Kitties who made Honeydust’s dream of having a home of her very own come true! ^_^

last few days

Well I finally finished all the quests for Florapolis and have headed off to London which I think so far in the game is my favourite area.. so very well designed and absolutely adorable ^_^

Ive worked my way through the first chunk of quests which werent as difficult as I thought they might have been, starting in a new area and all… Quickly did everything necessary to recieve the first of the pet cards so now I have the cute little blue jello doggy (which I named sprinkles) running along beside Honeydust on her adventures. I know the pets are suppose to have other purposes than just looking cute, but Im still yet to discover exactly what those are.

Aside from a new zone, pets and a spiffing new hairstyle, Ive started Honeydust working on her farm. That took some figuring out on my part at first, but now I have the hang of it its really quite easy, and fun!

Reaaaally looking forward to Hello Kittys birthday event starting up this weekend, but feeling a bit ‘meh’ because I dont belong to a guild so cant join in on any of the guild activities yet, which is a shame because the one where you farm and make items and raise real money for charities sounded fantastic. Someone please adopt me? *batts eyelashes*

Current ingame activity: Feeding Sprinkles pet biscuits and farming farming farming!

Hello!

I promised myself that when I would first start playing Hello Kitty Online I would also start writing in my blog. A few days ago I was lucky enough to recieve the email letting me know I was picked to become a hello kitty online founder and could download the founders beta to start playing so.. Here I am! *insert fanfare*

Now that I am here, Im not entirely sure what to write…Ive been fiddling around with all the blog settings trying to feel my way around things as Ive never really done the blog thing beforeĀ and at the same time playing the game.. sitting under a nice Caterpillar tree and waiting for my health to sloooowly go up before beating my way through another hundred bagillion lynx’s hoping some long black hair will drop for my character…

Speaking of which, Ive been thinking that it would be spiffy to have a database that tells you what drops from where, much like wowhead for world of warcraft.. we could call it meowhead.

Hrmm ok.. maybe not

Current ingame activity: Looking for long black hair, collecting maple for quest, leveling cooking as its shamefully low.
