if i were to start a guild would you join? i’m really thinking about it. i don’t have the cash to start it myself yet, but i’m 1/3 of the way there. if we got other people to all pitch in it shouldn’t be that much. i have a name and everything in mind. just let me know if this is something that you guys would be willing to help out with. i don’t want to start a guild and then be in it alone!

whew! these past 2 days i feel like it’s been more of work than a game! i’m deep into O-chan’s quest to make the burry ball. and you have to have tons of different rare items to make them so i’m trying to collect everything. first i had to up my forging and crafting.

i started out mining copper to make millions of copper rings.

then i went to mine for clay for the other part of the copper ring recipe

finally it was time to start mining for the burry ball ingredients. let me tell you, i have spent 2 days in Middle Secret Peak! i just now am about to move on to mining for white fragments from the fossil rock in Windy Pathway. so if you see me say hi!

Kaito and i started a guild yesterday. we’re the HKO Founders. it’s just a temporary guild so people can hang out, chat, and help each other while they are leveling up to start their own guilds. i’m seriously considering starting my own, but i don’t know what i’d call it. i really just want my own so i can use hello kitty or my melody as our mascot instead of badtzmaru! ^^;

oh! also i ran into two friends!

first i finally met Starrfire7 ! she was hanging out in Sanrio Harbour. i had to stop by there to get gravel from crabs so i could make 100 slick stones. it was a crab massacre!

then today i saw Princess Ai (Kiyoko)  in Florapolis! she sold me some gravel! thanks again!! i also invited her to our guild. she’s really fun! (look! there is GM-Cal!)

anyways, since i am still sick (;_;) i’m going to rest for a bit before i start playing again. i think i’m going to color some. my fiance stopped by the store on his way home from the doctor and picked up 4 Hello Kitty coloring books!! that makes my total Hello Kitty coloring book number to 12! i am surrounded by Hello Kitty all the time and have been every day of my life. there is never a moment when i don’t see her somewhere (she even appears in my dreams!). once things get more financially stable around here i am pretty sure i’m ready to commit to a Hello Kitty tattoo. she’s such a huge part of my life so i don’t think it’s a bad idea.

and if anyone has any spare white fragments (the things from fossil rock that look like they have suns on them) i will totally buy them from you!  next time i see O-chan i’m going to take a cap of him! this has been the hardest quest yet!

if you didn’t know the past few days the GM’s have been meeting to talk about in game changes. today GM-Abby and GM-Neverender both posted about what will be changed. they are fixing the most major issues. so expect chinese quests translated soon. also they have heard us speak and are going to fix the guild system! instead of being lvl 30, you can be lvl 20. this is also a change in the monetary aspect but i don’t know what that will be. and last but not least they are going to make our farms much much better. the new farming system was very disappointing and i don’t know if they made it that way to make the game harder or what. but it seems like they are going to try and find an even balance between the super hard farming of now and the fun laid back farming of CB.

not to mention, Abby said something about “special (you-have-no-idea kind of special) events that lead to a fundamental part of Open Beta” i know we are having a celebration for Hello Kitty’s birthday, but i can’t wait to find out the other surprises!

in other not so fun news, my fiance Chris and i, have both come down with some sort of illness. i had been feeling bad for days but i woke up in the middle of the night last night with a fever so hopefully we will feel better soon. i didn’t play much HKO yesterday cos i just wasn’t feeling up to it. i’ve taken some aspirin so hopefully i’ll feel well enough to play today! i need to work on my skills!

well, i have finally made to level 20! besides just trying to lvl up i really wanted to get to 20 because i had heard that the monsters drop magic water to make magic crystals. and i was one of the people that didn’t know to save all of my magic water from Choucho’s optional treasure hunt. cos now i’m in Londan and i can’t do the tempreture quest. so i’ve been working hard on my farm and i really need to start just gathering materials to make foods and crafts. i have so many skill guides i’ve been hiding away in my warehouse that i need t learn but am not leveled high enough. i mean, how much choco milk am i going to have to make to get to cooking lvl 5?! i got a recipe book from a drop yesterday and it was something with corn and coal (popcorn? o_O) but even though i learned the skill it wouldn’t let me make it cos my lvl wasn’t high. that doesn’t make sense! why would it let me learn it then?

last night i had fun with Micchi and Azure (both from my old CB guild “The Fan Faire”). Azure was on the leopard teeth quest and i, having already finished it and knowing what a pain it was when you’re xp isn’t high enough to fight the leopards without having to rest all time, helped him. see this is why i think we should be able to start guilds now rather than at lvl 30 and with $1 million. that’s craziness! $1 million?! it’s going to have to be  a huge guild for people to donate to the cause. hopefully they will change that and make guilds free like before (pleeeease?). i’m going to continue to help out my friends, guild or not, just cos it’s nice. i mean, the people i have met from this game are all really awesome and it’s fun to hang out with them. and also my real life best friend in the whole wide world just signed up to play so i’ll be helping her out too. i’m so excited for her to play! =^^=

anyways, now that i’m lvl 20 i got…the flora wand! i usually use the rose to hide my wands cos they are ugly but this one is so sparkly and pretty!

i did go and visit Paris so i could see how it was. nothing is happening there. all the characters say is “hi, welcome to Paris”. i think they will make more of it available later on. here are some caps!

so i’m still a bit confused about what i’m growing some of the time. i have tried all the seeds from the merchant in Londan.

AlmightyTallest made a list of what each of the seeds represent. i figured out a few myself. the one under the corn is lemon trees. the one next to it is some sort of leaf. the one next to that (he has a leaf on the list but that’s the one before it) is another sort of tree leaf thing that for some reason nothing grows on….or i’m doing it wrong. here’s a cap of my farm so you can see how the plants look grown. if you know what the ones on the bottom right corner please tell me what they are. those are the ones that aren’t fruiting.

i must say that i have gotten a lot done in game! i finally figured out what quests in Florapolis that i hadn’t finished. hopefully i will be officially done with that area soon. right now the servers are being shut down for maintenance so i quit for now.

i have leveled myself up to 18! i leveled up my woodcutting too so now i’m level 8 at least. i have yet to work on crafting and cooking skills. i got a skill guide to make honey drink from a tree so once i finish some of these quests i’m on i’ll work on that. i have more quests in Londan waiting for me, but…..i have already awoken Hello Kitty! i was happy to see her so i took a screen cap.

hurray! i also found out that the pink hair for females should be working later today. which is awesome because i really really want one! GM-Wayne said that the translation should be fixed soon too. that will be great cos i have items and quests i can’t read. not being able to read quests is the worst. i can just make out the NPC names. anyways, that’s my little update for now. my fiance was up all night playing WOW and he’s happily snoring away. i’m not sure if i’ll go back to sleep or wait for the game to start back up. i just really wish i had more caffeine then this green tea. maybe i can convince my fiance to make a starbucks run! XD

i’ve had to stop playing for a bit because the lag was unbelievable. and i was in the middle of nowhere too! i can’t imagine sanrio harbour! most of my day (when i sign in again) will be spent in the middle of Secret Peak hunting leopard teeth. very tedious. just as bad as the boar teeth! it’s sad and lonely mostly cos no one is on the map. but i did have AlmightyTallest visit for awhile and we chatted. too bad the lag kicked in and everything froze and i had to log out. gomen!! ^^”

well, i had been anxiously awaiting the founders beta to start after being part of the closed beta last spring. it’s so awesome to be playing again! i’m seeing lots of people i met in the CB and meeting new people too. the game is great. there have been a few bugs. people getting stuck, becoming bald, lagging, portals not working, but over all it seems to be on it’s way to becoming a great MMORPG. well, ok, there are some quests still in Chinese and that’s making it difficult for the more advanced players, but i have heard that will be fixed soon.  i’ve quickly become addicted to the game. so much so that my fiance fears he’ll “lose me to HKO” and he plays WOW! ha! anyways, here are a few screen shots!
