Ooh, a new post…!

Yep, posting again. Been a while but thought I’d make a little effort now while I have it in mind.

Had quite a busy weekend. I had a Christening to go to yesterday. Quite good fun! It was nice spending time with the family. Everyone was aww-ing and cooing over Matty, so I think he enjoyed himself two. Unfortunatly we had to leave early because the music was far too loud for Matty.

Speaking of Matty, he’s started to smile on his own (without it being wind) and making noises, trying to communicate with people. It’s so freaking adorable! I can’t wait for him to start talking. I always wonder what he’s going to look like when he’s older. I wonder the same about Brandon too. I just hope they’re happy in life. That’s what all parents want for their children, surley. He also, I’ve noticed, uses his left hand more than his right. Could he be a lefty as well as having an outy belly button?

In other news, I’ve been trying out some more of these Eyeko products. This time the “Thouch and Go” Consealer and “Touch and Glow” Highlighter. Both are pretty good! I don’t think the consealer will suit all skin tones but they do suit most. I use it quite regularly when I use my make-up. It’s quite peachy in colour, which should neutralize the circles under your eyes.

The “Touch and Glow” is a favorite of the two at the moment. It really does highlight without making you look greasy. I usually dab a bit underneath my eyebrows and over the highest points of my cheeks. I love the way they make my cheekbones stand out.

I’ve also been using the Curly mascara and waterproof eyeliner from MAC’s Hello Kitty range. I’m very impressed with both. The eyeliner really is waterproof and the mascara is decent. I still prefer the Eyeko one for some reason though.

Me and Robin are thinking of going to The Philippines in March of next year. I can’t wait! I’m sure Rob will enjoy it too! I absolutely love going there. It’s a whole new world.

Anyways, I guess that’s all for now. I’ll post another time!

So, it’s been quite a while…

…since I’ve last posted on this darn thing. Sometimes I wonder why I even have it! Oh well. I have good reason right now.

Matty is doing fantastically now. He’s drinking his milk well, and is quite a chilled baby unless he has a bout of colic during the night. Yes, he may keep me up sometimes but seeing as Robin takes care of Brandon, I can sleep during the day if I’m missing out on sleep. Only problem is now my sleeping pattern is being kicked in the teeth. xD

Now, Eyeko was kind enough to send me some stuff for me to review, unfortunatly this was quite a while ago (Before Matty was born) and I haven’t been able to do the review since. I’ll probably have a go at doing that later. It’s just been a bit difficult with being a new parent all over again!

Matty is 3 months now. He’s growing really quickly! He’s put on a couple of pounds since he was weighed in the hospital before he was discharged. He still has a rash on his face but nowhere near as bad as it was before. The midwife said it was probably sensitive skin to someone’s lotion or something. She said not to worry too much, just watch what you use etc.

Anyways, this is a photo that was taken just before he was released from hospital.
I really love how peaceful he looks here with his friend Teddy watching over him.
