子貢問孔子:「死人有知無知也?」孔子曰:「吾欲言死者有知也,恐孝子順孫妨以送死也;欲言無知,恐不孝子孫棄不葬也。賜欲知死人有知將無知也?死徐自知之,猶未晚也!」
