What I found amusing was her answer to the Question about Hello Kitty Future.

“In 10 years’ time, everybody around the world will know her. Also, the number of male and female fans will be the same. Men who are still reluctant to be seen with Kitty in public today might be wearing Hello Kitty boxers. But they will eventually stop being shy and will show off Kitty proudly.”

I guess that makes me a and a few other men pioneers. The first generation, then again it would be interesting to see who might be the first male fans. Now I know some have written her off as eccentric coot but as I look at it deeper, she may know something we are missing. We’re talking about somebody who took a failing line turn into a multi million Yen empire. Secondly while see dress eccentrically most entrepreneurs are eccentric and mavericks because they are the ones willing to think outside the box and take risk. Still there no guarantee Hello Kitty will go where no Kitty has gone before: in men’s lives.
