HKO Theme, HK Plushies

Haha, new HKO theme! So tell me what you think! :] I really like it, but personally I wish there were more HKO themes, maybe with the pets, or some NPCs with a game background~

Oh btw, there’s a Hello Kitty promo right now in McDonald’s Hong Kong, just sharing.

No, they aren’t selling plastic cups Anyway, they have Hello Kitty plushies called Kitty Messengers. Click here if you wanna see the promo page. I might get one, and if I do I’ll post it here. :]

Sanrio Cupcakes on Martha Stewart

If you follow The Martha Stewart Show, you probably know about the recent Cutest Cupcake Contest. On the June 16 episode “Crafting with Rosie O’Donnell”, Martha announced her top picks, and guess who made it into her list!

That’s right, our very own Sanrio characters! This “Hello Kitty and Friends” cupcake set was made by “colmmoo”, and the designs are apparently made of marshmallow fondant. The pic above is directly from the episode video, where Martha said they were “very sweet, very nicely done too”.

Random HKO GIFs

Okay so I was playing around with GIFs after seeing that little clip Tidesong did, but I don’t think I could think of anything as clever as an endless supply of watermelons So, I went back to the minigame videos I had saved and came up with some. They’re pretty small (176×144) but they’re also pretty big in file size, so I won’t load the actual GIFs here on the post. While waiting…

I’ve seen people exchange Wii numbers on the forums, so it got me thinking.. I wonder what our other gamers are doing while waiting for Open Beta? And then as I was pondering that thought, something caught my attention. When I looked, here’s what I saw:

I guess Hello Kitty really wants to keep her gaming skills sharp. I don’t know why she’s wearing that crab suit though, I mean the crabs in HKO are blue. Maybe she wants to be the crab miniboss. That won’t do.
