Sanrio Digital announced that the animated TV series produced in partnership with Dream Cortex, The Adventures of Hello Kitty & Friends, has won the DigiCon6 Award 2008 “Prize for Effort” Certificate for the Hong Kong region. The Hong Kong regional award ceremony was held at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre.

The DigiCon6 Awards, organized by Japan TBS (Tokyo Broadcasting System), is one of the most recognized animation awards in Japan.  The awards are open not only to Japan but to other Asian countries as well including China, Hong Kong, Korea, Singapore, India, Taiwan, Jordan, Thailand and Malaysia.

There are a total of 2,248 entries for the 10th DigiCon6 Awards.

Each volume contains 3 episodes of the animated series and is dubbed by the TVB crew. Now you can watch and re-watch your favorite episodes whenever you like! Enjoy!

Good news! Sanrio Digital collected 5 prizes in the Best Digital Entertainment Award at the Hong Kong ICT Awards 2008! Sanrio Digital won in the Best Graphics category for the eagerly anticipated “Hello Kitty Online” MMORPG (www.hellokittyonline.com), while the second season of “The Adventures of Hello Kitty & Friends” won prizes for Best 3D Animation, Best TV Series, Best Modeling & Texturing, and Best Lighting & Rendering!

The Hong Kong ICT Awards (www.hkictawards.hk) is a yearly collaborative effort among digital entertainment organizations, ICT professional bodies, academia and the government to select and honor Hong Kong’s finest accomplishments in IT and digital entertainment. The Best Digital Entertainment Award recognizes the best works produced in the Hong Kong digital entertainment industry. The presentation ceremony was held on February 9, 2009 at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre.

The video clip is a trailer for the Hello Kitty & Friends CGI TV show created by Sanrio Digital and Dream Cortex. As of November 25, 2008, the clip was ranked number 1 on both "Most Viewed (All Time)" and "Most Favorited (All Time)" in its category. Congratulations, Kitty!

The clip also came in 4th place for "Most Discussed (All Time)", 5th place for "Top Rated (All Time), and 9th place for "Most Responded (All Time)". Here’s a screenshots listing the honors:
