Hello Kitty’s Bakery embraces both cuteness and the style of à la Film Noir era. In the same episode Pochacco is a private eye, what do you think about his new office?

Pochacco’s office is mainly made by wood; and it is one of the features of à la Film Noir era. The black and white environment roughs shown in our blog last week were actually what were done first, to let the artist get a feel of the mood. Then, color pieces above were created — lighting is decided in this stage. Floor plans are created if needed — to plan out what the camera will and will not see. Lastly, the individual props were drawn and colored.

It really involves quite a lot of steps to design Pochacco’s office, isn’t it?
